The short and sweet of it; perfect horror game set in a crafting environment.

The atmosphere of this game just makes it top notch to stretch out your suspense and paranoia. Walking through the woods and hearing a twig snap only to find a deer has never been so relieving. Some of the scariest moments will be when you believe yourself to be in relative safety and the natives begin testing your survival shelter.

I play this game at least one playthrough every October since 2018 and it has yet to disappoint me. My latest run included coop, and while it is a bit less scary with a friend by your side, you will still have moments that make up for it.

The only things the game lacks in are small but still noticeable. The combat system will become a grind fest towards the end of the game, and the structure building system is extremely clunky.

All in all a great horror game, and I look forward to playing it again next October.
