A friend of mine told me about this game, and streamed part of it to me. I was so frustrated with his inability to get her off, I bought the game, so I could. Daigneux deserved better, even if she is a mean dommy mommy. The game actually appears to be kind of a beginners guide, for all the inexperienced weebs on steam. Good for them for including tips like "don't skip foreplay because it'll be uncomfortable", and including different erogenous zones as a requirement.

There are animated scenes with leaders from the places you conquer, and those appear geared towards different kinks, some of which are a bit yikes. The main mode where you spend all your time banging Daigneux, has a ton of different animations and scenes; pretty neat! All in all, it's an interesting way to waste some time, and it's only 15 bucks.

But you will get a hand cramp... from skipping all the crappy dialog, obviously? Obviously.

I love this game and can't understand why the sales don't reflect how delightful it is. Maybe it's a little too dark for some people, but I found the writing to be hilarious, and the gameplay to be really satisfying. I enjoyed being a little lady and tossing glitter around. Sure, there isn't much replayability, other than to figure out which choices will change what, but it's still 100% worth it.

Why is it online only, and I have to queue just to play with bots? Why is there no voice chat? Why is there no way to filter between loud and stealth lobbies? On that note, why is there no actual lobby you load into where you can even text chat with people? Why can't we skip heist intros? Why are there so few heists? Why is it that the few heists there are, are just remodeled versions of old heists? The OG bank heist, big bank, the art heist, etc? Why are all the tools geared towards only stealth?

The XP system is a total nightmare. It's not based on anything that makes any sense. Your xp is based mostly on solo challenges, which presents its own issues in a co-op game. Suddenly people don't care so much about working together, as they do getting the 5 headshots they need with a specific gun to work on their levels, etc.

Example of how broken the xp system is: Complete the mission 99 boxes in stealth, without killing any guards or taking down the cam operator on the highest difficulty, for 50xp. Or you could just kill people while you're sliding for 60xp. Or deploy a turret for 40xp.

You could also do their art heist and escape with all the bags for 50xp. Or. You could just slide a total distance of 1000 meters for 80xp? You aren't rewarded for being good at the game. You're rewarded for random mechanics. It's an awful system that makes you grind out stupid stuff. Hold on guys, we can't finish this heist yet, I need to slide another 5 times.

It's disappointing and regressive with an absolute trash metric for xp, but all that said, im pretty confident they'll fix the things. It's only 40 bucks. You know what you're currently getting yourself into, and I've had a ton of fun spending countless hours in the game with friends. So. I've changed my review to positive because I've certainly gotten my moneys worth, despite the hiccups.

If you sink over a thousand hours into something, you obviously recommend it.

It's cutesy! You've got this little... Tim Burton style environment you're running around in! But, If you want to survive comfortably for more than a season, you really need to look at the wiki or some guides. There's a decent learning curve, and if you don't put in the time to learn about it all, you're going to fail.

I've survived over 500 days in some games, and then i just start a new one or take on a different play style. There's plenty to do, learn, and experience. I love this game <3

You can't have as many hours as I do, and dislike the game. Yes, it can be frustrating at times. The AI director likes to take a big fat dump on your head at random, and then your party wipes. There are bugs, then patches, then more random bugs. But if you like four person co-ops like L4D2, then you'll enjoy it. It is more melee focused, but they're still very similar.

It's Vermintide, but with a better loot system, better character mechanics, and better game mechanics. Twitch mode can be really fun, plus the challenges and mods add a lot of interesting content. Worth it.

I got this game quite awhile back, but didn't really get into it until recently. They implemented a lot of changes that really helped the game come together, and now it's ridiculously fun. It's considered early access, but feels complete. I've played several "finished" games that were riddled with bugs, but in this game i've found none. Not only is the gameplay smooth and decently optimized, but everything is absolutely gorgeous. I've never put much stock in things like graphics and scenery, but when every moment you spend in a game is surrounded by gorgeous scenery, it really changes your experience. Great artistry, gameplay and music. A game definitely worth trying.

Its a fun, 4 player co-op that I've sunk thousands of hours into. I really can't complain.

At one point, I had a negative review due to microtransactions, but they took those out, so i figured it was time to change it.

I could be salty about how they've started giving the game away for free during special events, or how i bought the DLC one at a time, when apparently, i could've waited, then picked them all up as a pack for a third of the cost? But. I've gotten over 3,000 hours of enjoyment, so i'd say the money was worth it.

The modding community is stellar, and the community in general isn't all bad? Lets say.... 20% Toxic :P Still a great game, and totally worth playing.

The sniper is the only thing i found usefull. Get it on sale, or not at all.

As a woman, i really looked forward to being able to play as a female character. So i've been super excited for this release... Then i bought it. The gun is nice, but everything else is mediocre, at best. Except her. Shes downright irritating. I cant even stand being in a game on loud, if someone is her. During stealth, she's a lot less irritating, but during an assault... Her voice cracks with her screeching, and she constantly giggles when killing specials. It wears on your nerves, and is high pitched enough to make my dog howl (by hearing it Through my headphones).

AND, her appearance is SERIOUSLY lacking. Its like the dev's tried to play it safe, and make her completely unappealing as to not offend the feminazis out there. She's not even attractive enough to be a "plain jane" type. Even her clothes are ridiculous. Her shirt goes up to her chin for gods sake. A conservative heister? lol

tl;dr She's annoying as ****, and the gun isn't worth five bucks. Only buy if you're wanting to continuously troll friends ingame by screeching at them, or if it goes on some 90% off steam sale.
