Jammed it on my old laptop during the holidays and loved it.
Just play it, have fun, relax or go all in. I'm going for 100% completion, but would have enjoyed it more if I just let the good times roll instead off trying hard and grinding to run the best Sushi restaurant. Would love an expansion or more end game content or sand boxing.

One of the best RPGs I've ever played. I was very intimidated to play this hard game at first, I did not enjoy Dark souls 1 on PS because YOU DIED appeared more than any progress. A controller is a must if you want to play on PC. Play this if you are tired of wannabe RPGs and want something with depth, substance and a challenge. This game is amazing! Try to stay away from the YouTube tutorials if you want more Emerson and if you love exploring

I'm back and enjoying this game very differently than before. Getting to LVL60 was a massive grind, and there is still a lot to do after that. The grind is never ending, the PVE is impossible without friends or randoms. PVP isn't worth it. But now that most of the bugs and glitches have been fixed, I would recommend this game for anyone looking for a fun MMORPG.

My review from 2022:
250 hours later and still grinding to get to LVL 60 so I can get invited to a war. Still don't know what outpost rush works of if it does work. PVE sucks because you can't go caving solo. PVP sucks because if you're not LVL 60 with good gear you just get wasted. I loved the crafting, but it's become to much of a grind and you can just buy better gear for less. I loved the market being controlled by the players, but it's spiraled down to selling items for less than nothing. I loved the graphics and landscape, but it's all looks the same copy paste after a while. There are so few players these days that the beautiful world has become desert and lonely even from gangkers. I didn't mind the bugs or glitches that much, but that and the exploits caused the players to leave. I'm leaving now on to a New World that has more structure and stability

Epic game! Days of fun! Plenty bosses, big world, lots of exploring to do! I suggest PVE or Single Player before PVP just to get the hang of things if you're alone. But great fun with friends!

Best cheap early access game I’ve ever played! Buy two copies, one for you and a friend, because Solo play is going to suck for the first 7 hours. You need to rely on friends/crew to help level up and acquire the necessary skills to build a ship, survive and sail the million miles of pirate and ghost infested seas. Great MMO RPG!

Exhilarating, thrilling and scary. The main boss is you!

That is of course after playing for a while and getting some awesome feeling wins under your belt.

Learning the map, the guns, the bullet drop and especially the way the other players act and react in different and similar ways, and the intriguing predictability of where the players might be and how they might manoeuvre. This early access game tickles out a lot of primal emotions and instinctive decision making moves out of my core.

This game is a lot deeper than people think. The fear of dying or at least losing loot and starting over again mixed with the adrenaline of the hunt or just plain fun and reckless combat.
I love the realism of firearms, the random spray patterns and how you can get comfortable with your favourite and how you push yourself to practice with the ones you might have hated.

RESPECT THE ZONE! There are a million ways to die in this game but the most common one for me, is this necessary evil.

You might hate this game because you keep getting shot from who knows where, or you might love it like I do because of it's raw, ridiculous and infinite ways of playing or getting lost in the recurring nightmare of possibilities or what ifs.
Anyway, great game. Now buy it and let me kill you.

Great game! It's like COD and Crysis had a love child. The CO-OP is amazing and actually challenging, very challenging! Just a bit stinghy with kredits, but I think buying a booster might be worth it.
