I mean the good thing is that it's a monster hunter game and I love monster hunter since its first release.
But the graphics on wilds are so unbelievable bad I would absolutely prefer rise on the switch over this.
And I'm not even talking about the horrible performance even on highend PCs.

The faces, the emotions.
Its kinda like you play Skyrim again.

The gameplay loop itself is fine (I mean it's monster hunter) but the graphics annoy me so much that I absolutely can't recommend that game.

I mean I have hope because cyberpunk was also looking bad and now it's fine.

Sadly I allready finished Kingdom come deliverance 2
But I would recommend that game absolutely more

How is this even Early Access???
This game is allready more complete then most of the Full released games out there.
Damn this game is even fluedly playable on the steam deck and it looks feels and plays allready amazing.

This developers could teach most of the others how games should be made.

Again an super amazing job and I absolutely didn't expect this today to be released.

I actually don't get why this game get so much love. I play it now arround 17 hours. The loop is kinda okayish, but the graphics are very bad even on high settings. I actually don't see how this game is a full release. Almost every rock you try to climb gets invisible and you walk like out of bounds trough the rocks.

When you walk near the boundaries of the map everything gets even worse the hills popping Randomly on and off. And they not even try to hide these areas. You just wanna explore the map and you walk right into these. Also an annoying part is you can't really terraform the world (at least I can't in my playtime) you can't decide where you want to be a lake. You also cannot take the water from an area and flood others. Its all predetermined.

If the percentage reach a state the world change evertime in the same manner.
You can't really "craft" the planet. It's like okay you reached level 2 now everything this and that area is under water.
Okay level 3 now the ice in that and that area is melting so you can pass these areas.

Don't know It doesn't feel like I am the one who is changing the planet.

Finished the game and oooh my goodness. This game got me hooked.
So many wtf moments.
Masterpiece, brillant I loved every minute.
This game is absolutely one of a kind.
I'll thank the developer for this amazing experience.

Finally finished the game with the true good ending, and I have to say this game is sadly disappointing.

Don't get me wrong if this would be an indie game it would feel kinda better then it is.
But it's a high price AAA title plus micros.

So I start with the good:
I pretty much liked the Musik, the fights against some bigger monsters are also quite fun, and that brings me to the bad.

Why on earth there is no lock on system, why is the climbing mechanic so atrociously bad.
Shadow of the colossus had way better climbing mechanics then this one. And why can I climb on Every bigger monster but I cannot climb on rocks, I once couldn't even get out and cause I didn't had a teleporter at hand I needed to reload ( again this is a AAA title)
The walk between the villages is so much pain, every 15 meters are filled with nonsense just annoying monsters and there aren't even many types of it so you getting attacked mostly by 3 different kind of monsters... Bit even if, why there is no thing like horses or stuff where you can run away.
The pawns are also pretty annoying starting from talking every 5 minutes about the same things. They are also pretty dumb as they fall so many times without an enemy nearby to death...
The story begins pretty cool in my opinion but after you start to go to bathal it's getting totally worse.

All in all im pretty disappointed, I finished it not cause it was fun.
I just wanted to watch till end before writing a review.
And Jep it's bad.

I mean I love ark in general I have arround 2k hours in the old one.
I mean yeah the graphics can be nice but I have to lower the settings anyway to play it properly so its not a big difference to the old one.

A huge disappointment is that they told us the dino ai is better, but actually they are dumb as ever, clipping throug buildings or attacking dinos which are in the base but the tails clipping trough walls so they can die of it. Actually nothing changed here compare to the old one.
What I totally don't get is how much someone can screw a server with just 70 people on it. Multiple server disconnects every day where it can take over 5 minutes till they are online again and sometimes you have to deal with a full server after that, is in a game where your dinos can die
(which a tame can take hours) just devastating. Exploring the ocean is in that case also a dice roll. If you are unlucky you will drown after a server disconnect or exploring a cave. that's in a game like ark a huge bummer. And everyone who knows the devs will know that there wouldn't be a fox for it soon. Sadly the nitrado servers are just bad, Fighting looks trough bad pings like a glitch fiesta. Another bad thing is Dinos glitch in each other when fighting and if you are unlucky you will take damage without dealing some couse the head of your dino glitch trough the body of the otherone.

All in all I can't recoment this game there are alot alot of issues and bugs which where also in the last ark game and are still not fixed in this one... that's literally insane.

Played the first level and so far it's pretty amazing.
Fluid gameplay and nice Voice acting.

Finished the game yesterday with both Endings.
Its a really good game, not too difficult.
The art style is amazing.
A really kinda relaxing melancholic experience with a little creepyness inside (but nothing too scary)

Overall a pretty good game 👌
