Hidden Tomatoes 2 is a free-to-play hidden object game about well…finding tomatoes!


Settings include; graphics quality, and audio controls.

If you wish to put your game into windowed mode, put -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 (or a resolution of your choice) under properties in the games Steam library page under launch options and relaunch the game.


The game is rendered in a 3D environment which looks pretty good (I played at the highest graphic settings). You cannot rotate the map, only pan around it using your mouse. One thing I wished this game had was interactive elements. It would have made the game stand out so much more. Like being able to open doors, garages, car trunks and windows. For some tomatoes and items you will need to pan the camera back and forth to see items hidden behind things that are obstructed if viewed head on.

I will be honest, I was not a fan of the music. It is music that reminds me of a clown act. The funny, wonky music that you hear when a clown is performing a bunch of funny acts on stage. So I ended up muting the game and putting on my own tunes while playing.

Overall not a bad game and the price is nice (free). It just needs some interactive elements to make it more lively and maybe a different choice in music. Some tomatoes are hard to find however so it does have some challenge to it which is nice. 🍅

Cats and Seek: Toge Land is a free and fun new seek and find game from Noobzilla. Meet an array of characters from Toge Productions other games while searching for cute kitties!


Settings include; Audio controls, pick your favourite cursor (many cute ones to choose from), language, display options and the ability to rest your data.

* Hint system with rechargeable hints
* Choose and customize your colours. From the colour of the hidden objects, the backgrounds and the line art (a highly customizable game when it comes to colour choices)!
* Photo mode where you can colour your photo after you’ve taken one
* Choose your music with five cute tracks to choose from (just click the record player icon on the main menu)
* Great zoom range
* Easy to earn achievements
* Normal relaxed mode or a timed speed-run which is optional (however one achievement does ask to complete one speed run)
* Use the hints, there is an achievement for using one!
* Some interactive elements in the map and a fun game to collect keys to open treasure chests


I love cat games by Noobzilla and am really enjoying this game, not only is it a free copy for everyone to enjoy but they introduce you to an array of friends and characters from other games under their publisher Toge Productions. A nice shout out to Coffee Talk (a great series of games) and Owl from (When the Past was Around). If you're a fan of Toge Productions like myself it is a real treat to see the cross-overs. And if you're not it is a great way to get introduced to some of their other games. ⭐

Pair of Stamps is a game to pass the time away while training your mind. It has some very cute cards displaying the baby versions of all kinds of animals, insects and fantasy characters.

* 120 levels to enjoy at your leisure set to a relaxing soundtrack

It is the kind of game you want stickers of all the cute art! I wish I could show screenshots but the cards disappear once you find a pair. I love that they went with the baby versions of the animals.

A fun and cute game to pass some time away at the same time as improving your memory! Also a wholesome game for a gamer of any age to enjoy. 💠

There is a new sheriff in town and it is time to find all those pesky wanted cats in Hidden Cat Outlaws: Demo! Find the naughty kitties and take on cat bosses across 2 maps.


Settings include; Audio controls.

Highlights

* Maps are coloured and hand-drawn. The style is fun and whimsical.
* The maps are interactive, click on buildings with the cat in hat icon to take on a Boss!
* Some cats are in buildings but you need to find the key to open them
* Hints available and are rechargeable
* You can tell the cat sounds (and others) are done by the devs and it is hilarious! Not the generic realist cat noises you usually find.
* Great zoom-range and you can pan the map with your mouse or WASD controls


* The maps are so well done and full of fun buildings and forests and other things to see. I think the map should be more interactive with cats hidden in objects and behind them. The cats are out in the open for the most part and too easy to find. There is so much existing potential to use what is already in the maps to make it more interactive.
* More boss fights and reward the player for defeating the boss with an achievement or in-game special item. The idea of boss fights is unique to this genre so make them more special.
* The maps are so vast that finding an additional 3 special items is not enough. You have so much room to play with, fill it up with collectables!
* I hope there will be display/resolution options for settings in the full release. Allowing us to play windowed mode for widescreens I personally find more comfortable.


The game is full of humour and some great hand-crafted artwork. The maps are coloured and the cats themselves are humorous and full of character. But the game is too easy as it is right now, I have given some suggestions above on how I think the devs could make the game more interesting for all ages. The way it stands at the moment it is perfect for younger gamers. Veterans of the genre will want more challenges so offer difficulty settings or use what is there and make it more interactive and more to find per map.

I love what I am seeing so far but hopefully the devs find my feedback useful and that all lovers of the hidden object genre give this demo a try and give their feedback. It has the makings of a really great game. 🐱

Find some sneaky, stealthy kitties in Hidden Cats:Thief along with some other fun achievements and rubber chickens…squawk!

* Maps have colored backgrounds (makes it easier on the eyes)
* Interactive elements in the map
* Hand-drawn, whimsical art style with some light humour
* I love how some of the cats are wearing thief outfits like beanies and masks :)
* Can pan zoomed-in panels using WASD
* Music is not bad, some instrumental tracks that are lo-fi in nature
* No click penalty so if you are a random clicker feel free to click away!


Overall a cute kitty seek & find game. I do not believe there was any hint system but the majority of cats are not hard to find and there are some other collectables to find besides cats. The lack of hints may be a frustration for younger gamers. There is the odd sneaky cat or item that was harder to spot. But overall a fun little hidden object game to pass away some time. 🐈

In Tailside - Cozy Cafe Sim (Demo) you run your own little cafe where you will be crafting various tasty coffees and decorating your cafe all while making friends with unique stories to share!

This review covers the demo version of the game which just gives a slice of what is to come. In the demo learn to craft three different types of coffee (espresso, macchiato and lattes), try out some decor sets to jazz up your cafe and meet a few of the locals. And to top it all off you play as an adorable fox character and all the locals are more cute animals!


Settings & features include; Resolution options, brightness, audio controls, and dialogue options. More options will be available in the full game.

Controls (at least in the demo) are for mouse and keyboard.


Visually the game is beautiful and fully rendered in a pixel style that is vibrant and eye-catching. The audio is upbeat and lively. I do hope in the full version they will have a music player that we can select different types of music to give our cafe a certain atmosphere to go with our decor. For now it is just the one tune in the demo.

Decorating the cafe is fun, you can move tables (and the stuff placed on them stays on them)! You can change flooring, wall colors, add plants and signage. I look forward to seeing more cool theme sets when the game releases. What is offered is fun and playful so far with a few different themes to mix and match.


I adore wholesome and hand-crafted experiences when I can get my paws on them. This game offers so much charm and leaves you feeling good. Of course this review is just a first impressions on the demo but I look forward to the full release to continue my adventures and learn new coffee recipes (and maybe some other beverages) and meet new friends. ☕

The Memories That Shape Us is a short but powerful narrative game that captures a person's life from childhood to adulthood and all the moments that shape them in between.


The Memories That Shape Us is a personal journey (I am guessing from the developers perspective) of their journey in life from their childhood to adulthood. As you explore each chapter you will find memory capsules that you interact with, memories of good times and painful ones.

This game was crafted as a narrative experience meshed with a walking sim. There is no combat and no rush. It is a story of ultimately hope after overcoming difficult periods. A message for everyone to never give up despite the dark times.

You start in the narrator’s childhood home and from there gradually move into their first apartment, and so forth, following their story told with heartfelt sincerity and reflection as they look back on the memories of childhood and moments that shaped them. In turn reflecting on ourselves and what made each of us who we are now.

The game is best played in one sitting and will run up to about two hours. The game does automatically save at the start of each chapter.



I did not want to review this game in the same way I review most other games, by breaking down the components and how they all come together to form my overall experience. This is not that type of game. This is an experience that you feel.

It is not easy for us to put ourselves out in the world and be who we are meant to be, embracing both our light and our dark parts. The sincerity and rawness displayed through this journey by the narrator is refreshing. Memories of growing up, good times, bad times, hope and loss.

We can all relate to the emotions behind the memories even if our experiences that shaped us are different. In the end I felt I knew the narrator more intimately and could relate to many of their struggles and reflections.

Their journey is not ended but the message displayed throughout and especially at the end of the game is one of hope and to never give up, something we all need to hear. A message of love and strength to everyone struggling, especially in these current times. ✨

If you're craving romance and love Supersize My Heart has some tasty mascots on the menu!

I have never personally looked at a mascot and craved anything more than the food chain they represent nor really wondered who wore the costume to be honest. But if I am going for any of them it is going to be the King (Sovereign in this case). I mean the closest thing I will get to romancing royalty is dating him plus if the food is also yummy then double the win!


You're new in Flavor City and attending the prestigious Business School for Quick Service Restaurant Professionals. Attend classes, choose your subjects and romance the other leading 4 mascots along the way. You can choose to stay solo if you wish but let’s be honest, we don’t play these games to just be friends with everyone. After classes hit the city while touring coffee shops, restaurants, night clubs, the beach or the park.

The four mascots you can romance are Mackie, Kai, Sovereign and The General. But beyond the four main mascots there is a whole array of characters to meet.

It is not hard to romance the mascot of your choice, every time you get to choose who to spend time with just pick the one you want to get to know. There is a reputation meter of sorts that keeps track of points you gain with each mascot but it is very easy to gain points just by spending time together and agreeing with them or complimenting them or their food.

The romance part of this dating sim is very, very tame. There is nothing graphic or x-rated. At most all you do is kiss your mascot of choice. So if you enjoy your food spiced up this one will not satisfy your cravings.


The only settings you can control are audio controls.

* No way to take screen captures (through Steam or in-game as you cannot hide the Hud. Sad as the artwork is gorgeous.
* No resolution or display options-use F11 to put your game into Windowed mode
* No text skipping or text speed options. Also no text rewind, but there is a history log. For multiple play-thoughs to get all endings try to have some dedicated save points and use the CTRL button to speed through the text (the text will automatically stop at choice points).
* Limited save slots (24) so be mindful of saving at big choices. There is quite a few endings so you may need to re-write over a few earlier saves at some point.
* Not necessary but Steam achievements would have been a nice touch


The artwork is so well done, anime style with a vibrant palette. The characters all have their unique styles and personalities. And the backgrounds mesh well with the sprites. I wish we could take screen captures or download the CG arts to enjoy as wallpapers.

The music is okay, nothing that stands out, and no voice work. There are also no ambient sounds. So nothing to really note on the audio front.


I really enjoyed the fun story and the artwork but the lack of features that a game in this genre normally has is noticeable. Not being able to use the Steam overlay or take screen captures either in-game or through Steam, and the lack of display and resolution options is unfortunate.

I recommend getting this game on sale. While the story is fun and there is a nice choice of mascots to romance, the actual character development and romantic build-up is shallow. It is more light hearted and humorous for a dating sim. 🍔

Every adventurer knows the key to successful questing is an organized backpack! In Tidy Backpack organize your fantasy loot like shields, weapons and artifacts.


As you go along you will find an array of fantasy items from shields and weapons to ancient artifacts. Each with a bit of lore to discover. 96 handcrafted levels and 33 unique items that unlock and are displayed in your collections gallery located on the main page.


Settings include; language, audio controls, windowed/fullscreen mode, click mode and skip button.

Visually the game is cute, hand-drawn art in a pleasing color palette. The game is all about cozy fun that has a bit of humor, relaxing music and wholesome vibes.

Achievements are easy to earn, most of them you get by just playing the game and finishing chapters with one exception earning the “Don’t hold it in!” achievement which is earned by turning on Click mode in the settings.

The only gripe I have with the game and it is a small thing really is that when you set your display to windowed each time you exit the game and come back in you have to reset it to windowed again and manually adjust it to the size you want each time.



I had fun with this game. It provided me with the relaxed and laid back experience I was expecting from it. The art style is simple and hand-drawn (much appreciated over AI) with simple backgrounds that do not distract from the main game components. There is no timer so you can take your time with each puzzle, there is a reset button and a hint button in each level but the hint button can only be used once per puzzle. Overall a cute little game to pass the time away at a good price point. ⚔️

Hidden Cats - Snow is a cute free-to-play hidden object game where you find playful kitties hidden in a snow-filled scene.


Settings include; display options, audio controls, voice volume, and languages.

Highlights

* unlimited hints
* easy to earn achievements
* cute soundtrack that is relaxing
* really good zoom controls
* glare controls (either set light to a day or night mode)
* cats are very easy to find for the most part as the map is static (no cats hidden behind or in things)


To be honest this game is cute and a great little time waster for the price (free) but is very easy. HInts were not really needed and the map is static (no interactive elements). This one is great for the younger gamers with cats easy to find, achievements very easy to earn and even though there is a timed mode no achievements are attached to it and you can ignore it if desired. I am not sure if you can turn off timed mode but it did not hinder my enjoyment in any way. 🐱
