This game is currently probably the best of it's kind in terms of the genre and game play. It's been worth the price for the amount of hours I've spent in it. I've had fun with it too.

I can't leave a positive review though due to how the "1.0 release" has landed, as well as my lack of faith in the potential for this game being achieved.

I'll preface by saying I have over 200 hours on the Nintendo Switch for this game. I've 100% the monsterpedia and story, and have gotten to mid gold in online ranked battles.

This game is really good. To be honest there's some steps back from earlier entries like Joker 3 Pro and even the DQM 1 and 2 remakes, but it's still a solid entry. I hope they add more content for post game as time goes on, or we get a DLC expansion or something. I'll still play this through to 100% just like I did on Switch, Worth the price if you like monster collector RPGs.

Cool game concept, really like the aesthetic. Game-play is lacking to me. Combat feels really slow and clunky, PvP could use some balancing, and the PvE is really hit and miss too as far as hit boxes and enemy AI. Would be a better experience if the game had combat more akin to Chivalry with a dedicated matchmaking system centered around gear-score brackets.

I've gotten plenty of hours of value out of the game, and the story is like 60 hours so I do recommend in terms of dollar per hour value.
Otherwise I wish I could recommend but the game doesn't and will never respect your time.
The devs continually nerf strategies for farming money, taming tems, and really any form of grinding for any reward. It's like punishing the player for wanting to earn rewards. Plus there is little to no end game to make up for the grind which is really disappointing.

Very fun strategy RPG that you can play with friends. Combat is fun, but the story is awful and there are tons of loose-ends. Basically only play if you are interested in co-op or solo tactical RPG.
