This feels like Yakuza's "Persona 5" moment.

I feared that my expectations towards Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth were going to balloon to a point it would be impossible for Sega and RGG Studio to not disappoint me. They did the impossible by offering closure and hope for the franchise’s future in one fell swoop. It entertains, it makes you laugh, it makes you feel emotional, it just makes you love this damn franchise even more. With more content than you can possible deal with, an addictive combat system, and what’s possibly one of the best assortments of characters ever put in a video game, with their own strengths, weaknesses, fun facts and inner demons, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is impossible to dislike.

Easy GOTY contender. Ichiban Kasuga is the only man who could match Kiryu, and continue the Yakuza/Like A Dragon legacy into the future. The only thing holding this back was the honestly asinine decision to put NG+ behind a paywall.

An absolutely fantastic single player auto-battler brought to you from the people behind Downfall, one of Slay the Spire's most successful mods. Despite the violence implied by an auto-battler, there's a coziness about Tales & Tactics - it radiates the warmth of a roaring tavern fire. Is fun to play casually, but has enough intricate mechanics to hold your attention each run. More items and events are a must, but besides that, I look forward to seeing what is to come!

Persona 5 Royal is a stunning game that takes something which has already captured millions of hearts, and makes it even better. This is the QUINTESSENTIAL Persona experience. If you're new to the franchise, this game is for you. If you're a seasoned veteran, there is enough new and improved content that this game is still for you. Endlessly slick, the battles and story are a joy to play through. No turn-based JRPG feels as good as this.

This success of this proves that all a game needs is a good idea and solid foundation in order to be a hit among gamers. None of this flashy, over-the-top graphical nonsense that has become the trend for the video game industry. I cannot recommend this enough, especially with the weekly updates with new content that have been in effect since launch!

I don't know how to describe it, but this game just makes me feel comfortable. It reminds me of simpler times.

A highly enjoyable action game filled to the brim with satirical humor. The gameplay has the right amount of depth to keep you engaged, but is still accessible enough and easy to get the hang of. The comedy really connected with me, No More Heroes is utterly ridiculous and revels in it's absurdity. There are certainly some dated elements, like the barren open world, or the fairly primitive visuals, but none of these minor setbacks were ever enough to majorly detract from the experience. I'm looking forward to playing more entries in this series, it's obvious to me after playing it why No More Heroes has become such a renowned cult classic.
