First off if you have twitter follow David Szymanski and Dave Oshry, both are extremely wholesome and great people, and second who isn't here because they saw Civvie play this. Dusk is fantastic, I may have been late to the party when this first came out but it's a fantastic game, it really does pay homage to other build engine and boomer shooters while also being a part of the greats, the atmosphere was fantastic, the music helped a lot with the environments in and out of combat, the monsters and enemies where so abundant that you never got bored of any of the fights, the maps slowly transforming into the other as you finished each level was a favorite thing of mine. This game is a solid 101/10 (Big john gives the game a 100 on his own)

I feel I've played enough to give my thoughts on the game. It's a really fun arena shooter and that's what it is an arena shooter it can't be compared to overwatch or tf2 it's not a clone it's actually very different, the one similar thing between overwatch and this game is different characters that have different abilities, there are a couple supportive ults but most are just used for movement or securing a kill. That's the only close thing to overwatch, movement, gun play, team coordination is completely different. I bought Quake because it had faster movement and was more about map memorization and even better Id software is pushing out more updates to better the game rather than leave it dead. If you once considered buying it but got pushed away because of the people with .3 hours played saying it's an overwatch clone, ignore it and play it for yourself and realize it's much better than what blizzard can provide.
