White day is a pretty fun cult classic Korean horror remake. Collecting all the ghost stories and hunting ghost encounters (which were basically all little side puzzles on their own) around the creepy school buildings was a fun and often scary experience, and the game didn't overstay its welcome for the most part (though I did pull out a guide at times to avoid constant running back and forth between buildings which would've killed pacing a bit). I really enjoying the overall story as well as the different endings available.

The most annoying part of the game is by far the janitors. they're simply not scary at all and basically just feel like they exist to slow the game pace down to a crawl, especially on hard or above where even THINKING about opening a door usually means they'll be on your ass for the next 10 minutes.
If they were a more scarce encounter (maybe something like how murder house does its roaming enemy) or just didn't consistently end up exactly where you are (or need to be) they could have been a much needed tension builder for the game, but in their current state they are just unbearable. I played with them on for about an hour and a half before downloading a trainer and disabling them for the rest of the playthrough.

Overall I think White Day is a game worth playing. It has an interesting story, a cliche but well executed setting and lots of classic ghost stories to uncover. Since the game is basically 75% off every steam sale I would recommend waiting for one to buy, and if the janitors are slowing the exploration/pacing too much consider using a trainer to get rid of them.

What an experience, there's a lot of reading and slow exploration needed to fully take in the game but it really sucks you in and immerses you in the locations you're exploring throughout the game. Was surprised with how creepy a game with such simple graphics could be just through excellent writing that creates fear in withheld information. The animations peppered throughout the game are beautiful too

A neat little short story that manages to somehow out-weird its namesake as it goes on.
The story is engaging enough and the art is pretty good too, $13AUD is a somewhat steep asking price but not the worst if you're a fan of these kind of bite-size horror shorts (and you can always wait for a sale). Looking forward to Varney Lake when it comes out

One of my favourite games of this year, can't really say much else but if it looks interesting to you don't read anything and give it a try.

keep in mind though that this game is not focused on replayability and is instead much more of a narrative driven mystery/horror with card battling elements, rather than a rogue-lite deck builder.

Having played this twice (once before section 3 was fully complete and once yesterday) Labyrinthine is looking good and will likely get even better, as the team is working on it so hard. Looking forward to the full release!

The atmosphere, sound design, and puzzles are all standouts in the game (and lots of bugs to do with desync and voice communication issues we originally encountered on the first playthrough are gone), while the only current downsides are that the story is a little messy to decipher if you're interested in the lore, and that sometimes there is long downtime of endless wandering with no monsters or anything which can start to feel slightly tedious.

Overall this is great horror co-op though and I highly recommend it to any groups looking for a horror adventure

Only buy this game if its on sale and you have a group of friends to play with, otherwise avoid. The game is actually really fun, its pretty buggy and unpolished but the concept alone carries the game. Just make sure you have people to play with
