Exclusivity sucks, and having this exclusive to the Windows Store on launch was a bunch of garbage. I hate this trend in gaming right now, and hope it dies a quick death, very soon.

That out of the way, if this had been on Steam for launch, I'd have bought it Day 1. It's a fantastic update to the original, and builds upon that framework. If you did enjoy SoD 1, you'll enjoy 2 as well. Only a few hours in and I can see that I'll be spending a couple hundred at least. There's an enormous amount of content to dig through, and that's just in Singleplayer.

I haven't touched the Multiplayer yet, though I've seen enough to know it's probably going to have issues. As an SP game though, this is well worth the buy. Base building, light RPG elements, and a whole lot of gory zombie splattering. My only real complaint is that you can only get 12 Survivors in a base (I'd run with 20+ on 1, with mods of course). I was really hoping to be able to build up a large community rather than a small group of elites.

Overall, definite must buy for anyone into zombie games, and of course those who enjoyed the original. Note that you need an Xbox Live account to play the game, but if you are running Windows 10, you most likely already have this as your Windows account is the same. This is not like UPlay though (thank the heavens) as you can play 100% offline with no issue.
