In Times with no Internet, no Social Media, just TV, Radio and Newspaper.
I remember when i was waiting for the School Bus and it was raining.
Somebody said: Be careful, it is radioactiv, it is coming from Tschernobyl.
In that Time i also saw the SciFi Masterpiece STALKER from 1979 that was surely an Inspiration for the Game STALKER.
It fascinated me and was a Main Reason why i´m so fascinated from Lost Places.
Over the Years i watched Videos, Photos and Diarys from People who visited Tschernobyl.
And 2 Months ago i found by surprise this Pearl.

Welcome to CHERNOBYLITE!

At first, i like no i love Games that made Storys that are part fictional and part real Events.
Like VALLEY and PARADISE LOST. Both Masterpieces in Storytelling.
With CHERNOBYLITE i found another Game like them.

CHERNOBYLITE is a First Person Survival Shooter with Stealth Elements.
It is also post apocalyptic and has horror elements.
Also including Basebuilding.

You are Igor a scientist who is searching for his fiancee Tatyana in the Ruins around Prypjat.
30 Years had been gone since she dissappeared.
With the Help of the Stalkers Olivier and Anton you enter the Nuclear Power Plant and the Horror begins.

CHERNOBYLITE has fascinating Graphics and Sound Effects.
The Atmosphere is absolutly amazing.
In Contrast to STALKER it doesn´t have an open World but different Areas that are really well done.
When you walk through the Ruins it feels so real.
All the Details and most is 3D scanned from the Real Chernobyl Zone.
Simply amazing. I love it so much.

After you completed the Prolog of CHERNOBYLITE, which is also a good Tutorial you will have a Base in an old Warehouse.
In FALLOUT 4 Style you can build up your Base with important, usefull and also decorative Objects.
That is needed to satisfy your Companions.

CHERNOBYLITE goes day by day.
You wake up, you choose Missions for you and your Companions, do them, return to Base, share Food, build Base, Train your abilities and go to Bed.
Repeat.
The Story of CHERNOBYLITE unfolds slowly.
There are Main and Side Missions.
In Side Missions you can refill important Items of Need, like Food, Ammunition, Medicine and more.
The Main Missions will help you to recruit new Companions and finding out what happens to Tatyana.
Entering the Zones will confront you with Soldiers but also with Monsters.
To deal with them, you can use different Weapons that can be also upgraded.
Prefer the silent Crossbow or the louder but more effectiv Machine Gun? It is your choice, there are enough different Weapons.
But you have also to deal with radioactivity. So Always have your Mask Ready.
Each Weapon and Equipment can be crafted in your Base if you have the Materials and build the different workbenches.
So, don´t Forget to collect ressources of all Kind on your Missions. You have a Scanner that will help you.

CHERNOBYLITE is really fascinating.
I love to explore the Areas, searching for needfull Things and hints from Tatyana, shown as real Photos.
The Actress for Tatyana fits in so perfect and i love her (English) voice.
Normally i don´t like to Play Games with Stealth because i prefer the direct way but here i love it.
It is so much fun to use your Environment to Sneak on Enemies or avoid them.
I also like the personalities of your Companions. Your Decisions have consequences on them.
I also like that they have their Problems with each other, so be careful with your decisions.

As i said before i like Storys that mix real with Fictional Events and CHERNOBYLITE is doing a great Job with it.
When i Play CHERNOBYLITE i´m totally into it.
Headphones, closed Room, just me and my Laptop.
Amazing experience.
