So as probably many others mentioned, this game is great:
It has style.
It has the lighthearted, cheesy comedy.
It has fun gameplay.
It has a fun combat system, and a soundtrack to match (original AND copyrighted)
It has a real nice upgrade/progression system with using special modifiers which use limited slots, making you think what you need most.
There's also a nice completionist-friendly system with challenges giving you rewards visible in your hub area as well as other rewards, like resources for upgrades or the in-game currency, and sometimes even cosmetics!
I've only three nitpicks:
1) You cannot see how many collectibles you've found per map, meaning that if you REALLY want to find everything, you might end up licking every single wall to find a clue for that one thing you need to finish your progression.
2) While I dare say this game is what would be described as rhythm-based, cartoony Devil May Cry, there is no reward for doing a no-hit encounter in a form of a score multiplier or anything, meaning that even if you do no-hit runs of levels, if you don't get the highest score, too, it won't show up in the level selection. If there was a way for the game to prioritize showcasing that, then that would be great.
3) At times it feels as if some parries didn't register, but this is a very minor thing, because sometimes I can clearly tell that it was me messing up. On other times though - not so sure.
To sum it up, this game is a lot of fun, and I highly reccomend it to people who are tired with the "mainstream AA industry", that feels more and more greedy with the DLC and microtransactions - as some put it, it feels like either a great cartoon made into a game, or a game from generations ago, made purely for fun. Give it a shot, it's cheaper than most games nowadays, and it runs real well even on older systems thanks to its simplicity.
And for the record, - nobody messes with Vandelay cuisine... just some food for thought.

-Wide choice of good quality wallpapers
-Some wallpapers have assigned sounds/tracks
-Many are animated
-Multiple filters for various search options
-WALLPEPER CUSTOMIZATION!
Honestly? Never thought I'd spend so much time just looking at wallpapers or struggle with picking any. Highly reccomended to anyone bored with using ol' Google Graphics to search for low-rez, boring wallpapers. Just use this instead and make your wallpaper interesting, dammit.

In a nutshell: You are stranded in an unfirendly world, with LOTS of bosses and monsters, and yet you manage to conquer it somehow. Pixelart is awesome, and I hope that there will be some more updates in the future. :D
