After playing Team Fortress 2 for the past year and a half, I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best FPS games I have ever played. The fact that it takes genuine teamwork to complete an objective, and not just everyone doing their own thing, was awesome to me. In most FPS games, game modes are more based on a team's overall kill count, instead of a team's ability to cooperate and succeed. Team Fortress 2, on the other hand (as stated in the title), is a completely team-based objective game. If you want to succeed, you must work with your fellow team mates, and strategically decide who should be what class. Which brings me to my next point: balance. The game, unlike many other FPS games I have played, is very well balanced. Because each class has its own distinct strengths and weaknesses. In many other FPS games, each player can be whatever they want, and still have a chance at winning. But in Team Fortress 2, the game depends on class balance in the teams. A team cannot succeed with only Engineers, or only Soldiers, Heavies, etc. A team always needs a balanced number of each class on it. And sometimes, one needs to sacrifice the class they would rather play, and be the class that the team needs most at the current point in time. This is a WONDERFUL Free to Play game, which brings me to my final point: money. Obviously, Team Fortress 2 is Free to Play, which was the main reason I got it to begin with. But the biggest complaint that I have heard in the past about a lot of Free to Play FPS games, is that even though they are Free to Play, they are mostly Pay to Win. But with Team Fortress 2, that is not the case. Every player in the game has the ability to find any weapon in the game with random drops. The only thing paying for something does for you is it gives a premium membership, at which point you gain the ability to trade with other players within the Team Fortress 2 Universe. Your biggest issue with being a Free to Play, though, is other people. People who have been playing for a long time, and especially those who bought the game before it was free, will look down upon you for being what they call an F2P (standing for Free2Play). My advice to you is: don't let anyone put you down in this game. You have as much of a right to play it as they do. They simply feel that since they have been playing longer, that they have more "authority" over you. This is not true, you control you. So you just get out there and do the best you can at what you're doing. You may not be good at first, but you'll get there. You'll find you strengths and weaknesses, and then you will improve your skills over time. Everyone starts out bad. Even the veteran Team Fortress 2 players. So, overall, I would most certainly give Team Fortress 2 5 stars for gameplay, class balance, and giving everyone (F2P or not) a fair chance in the game.

Thank you for reading, and have fun.
