Never forget, they designed the game to only give us access 6 us cars while not connected to their servers. Then, when they got caught with their pants down because half of the features were non-functioning due to the online being broken since launch, they panicked and enabled all cars for offline. This should tell you everything you need to know...

The problem:
The game lacks any sense of real freedom or meaningful challenge. 99% of the time, you either outclass the opponent, requiring zero skill, or they outclass you, requiring you to cheese the AI. You will be railroaded into buying cars you don't want to drive and the cars you do want to drive will be locked behind endgame or quickly become obsolete because of the bottleneck on upgrade parts. The AI is on-rails and will constantly slam into you or pin you against the wall with little consequence.

The solution:
More evenly matched battles
Rewards based on how even the match is
Actual consequences for losing battles, such as losing currency
Give us an optional driving model that requires skill and punishes bad fundamentals
Give us an option for crashes to have more drastic consequences, such as ending the run or repair costs
Adjust the progression wall on parts so players can build sleepers
Remove the wallet restrictions and allow players to freely grind for the cars they want and choose their own path

The physics just distill all of the fun out the game

Brakes are way too strong
Not enough emphasis on weight transfer
Momentum through corners (especially slow corners) feels terrible
It's like all momentum dies when you let off the power or brake for more than a couple of seconds
