in short, if you really want to build tanks, this is for you. theres a really big learning curve but getting the basics down isnt much. its things like transmissions and engines that really take a lot. the generated compartments are very user friendly to make, however freeform isnt as user friendly, but still not bad. if you want an accurate traction model, as of 12/29/23 it is NOT for you. the game has near endless possibilities in terms of design, and the fact that you can add your own camos and decals helps if you wanna make some kind of country.

id like to point out some stuff about the game:
traction isnt really that big of a deal outside of No Tanks Land (from my experience, and you def should not be playing it first) although it does bug out on light tanks that go extremely fast
if your not making 80+ ton tanks track sniping usually isnt a big deal. if you have any more then 3 tanks on the field its usually not a big problem (again, from my experience)
the game is not abandonwear, sure the dev has made some silly decisions but theyre all good intentioned (such as geometric internals being delayed for so long, with faulty release dates). hamish has stated he will be getting more devs for the game so that should help speed up progress after the GI update comes out.


personally this is my favorite game of all time, and ive played a lot of games. i just keep coming back to this one no matter what, and its one of the few games with an actually real hour count, or alteast close to it. i mean sure theres kind of a lack of missions, but in the present state they allow you to test your designs quite well.

this game is what makes fallout new vegas cry itself to sleep at night because it knows it will never be as good as this

being real, this game is amazing. not the best RTS, and far from the worst, and land battles may be a bit lacking, but the game is just a fun RTS, especially when it comes to space. personally, I enjoy this game with or without mods, given the base game isnt too complex and its just fun for time wasting, and mods are usually good for longer playthroughs or covering other eras. although this game is kind of a letdown compared to other games from the time (company of heroes, men of war assault squad, etc.), its still a gem because of the naval combat imo, if it weren't for that i really couldn't give this game a great review.

If your a WW2 fan, or you like Poland, or you just for some reason are bored to death and want a good singeplayer game, then this is right down your alley. They actually seem to have taken into account a lot of things, such as being weighed down (considering most troops in WW2 carried around 50 lbs) causing a lower sprinting (it takes a couple of seconds to go full speed), rather realistic aiming (you can't just go quickscoping like you could in something like COD), and pretty good animations (apparently they used to not be but they improved them iirc).

if i had to list my favorite FPS games, this is going number one, and I own a lot of them.

absolutely outstanding. if you've played brothers in arms: hells highway, then the graphics are kind of like that, so theyre very good actually. very immersive and just outstanding when it comes to the amount of devotion put into the game.

basically, if you combined CoD and ARMA you'd get this. theres something for everyone.

Very good, but if I'm going to be honest with you, its better on mobile. Its not a P2W like some of these comments say. If you don't feel like wasting your life on grinding for a squadron, go for the solo mode or whatever its called.

I enjoy the game. I do alot of singleplayer, as the community is kind of toxic. I highly recommend.
