I was told when I got the god pass in smite I would get all the gods in smite forever. Little did I know forever meant until they put a 2 at the end of the title. What should I have expected from a company that takes our money then shuts down their game after a few years.

They put all their eggs in the smite 2 basket, closed every other game they were working on to fully focus on smite 2. And now that the game is out what do we have you might ask? A half baked game that is missing all the charm that smite had. I know the game is in beta(a beta that’s been open since August only for the small price of 40 extra dollars on top of the ridiculous amount I’ve already spent) but to not have any loading screens, boarders, win/lose screens, pedestal, half the roster not being in the game is insane to me. So much has been stripped that made smite good. Not having any of my masteries carry over is crazy and the fact Hirez wants me to spend another 30 dollars and a god pass is bonkers. God forbid smite 3 comes out and we have to spend another 30 dollars for that god pass. The game definitely looks better but the art style doesn’t fit and somehow makes smite 1 look better. The new characters especially look like they are from some generic ass mobile game. I know ♥♥♥♥ will be fixed eventually but it’s the fact they basically killed smite 1 for this game. Smite 1 hasn’t gotten much new content in over a year. Do not waste your time like I did. Go play another game like marvel rivals where you can play all the characters for free without spending 30 dollars :)
