To start it off, Starfield is not a horrible game, however, it's not a great one either. As to everyone's knowledge the game started off great, there was even great reviews plastered everywhere, but as I continued to play this game I realized how dull and lifeless it is.

I am a huge Bethesda fan, you can check my hours of Skyrim on my Steam profile, I have a decent amount on Fallout 4 too. This game is just uninspiring, technically it is a step up above all other Bethesda games, but that's a given considering the last major single player release was in 2015.

It is a Bethesda game through and through, as the consistent loading screens at first don't seem too much, but doing the Crimson Fleet quest line made me realize how trash it is. To simply go from the UC Security base to the Crimson Fleet is around 4-5 loading screens.

The gunplay is great, however, the guns are uninspiring and there's a lack of cool/unique weapons unlike Fallout or TES.

The dialogue between NPCS is alright, they're just not interesting and every vendor wants to tell your their life story. Also it is very buggy around 30% of the time the NPCS aren't even looking in the right direction or the camera breaks.

Bethesda games are lacking when it comes to vehicles, cutscenes, and etc. The best thing about them is exploration and just seeing the beauty of the world Bethesda creates, but when it comes to Starfield exploration is gone in replacement of menu/loading screens. I've tried getting back into the loop of the game, but after beating the Crimson Fleet story line this games only redeeming qualities are from its quests.

My opinion buy it on sale, and hope that modders fix the exploration, perhaps in a couple of years.
