My fleshy body was insufficient so I chopped off my own legs and replaced them with mechanical tank treads.

In the beginning I cowered under blocks of dirt with my broken copper shortsword and even the simple lowly slime was able to best me.
In the end I forged a legendary blade, a god slayer, a culmination of all previous blades, forged at a mythril anvil, the Zenith.
Now even the gods fear me.

If you enjoy zero to hero you will enjoy this game. One thing that sets Terraria apart from other games is the creative problem solving the sandbox world allows you to do.
If a boss is too difficult you can build a minecart contraption to wiz you around out of the bosses reach.
If the jungle is too scary you can dig down to the side of the main tunnel hiding behind walls of mud while still exploring.

After beating the game on vanilla, I would highly recommend the Calamity Mod.
