By far one of the greatest medieval games I've played yet. Great story with fantastic side quests, the entire world feels alive and character consequences are extremely well thought out in this game.

9/10 because combat system is pretty bad, the old "locking onto an enemy" system feels so outdated and doesn't compare to modern fighting games where fighting feels more flexible.

Really good story. I only started playing it after Phantom Liberty came out but I can agree that the game has had one of the greatest comeback stories in video game history. Took me around 95 hours to beat on Hard mode, which was somewhat a challenge but boss fights weren't too bad. Definitely recommend Very Hard mode because it somewhat becomes a breeze. Phantom Liberty was a freakin great story, the secret ending blew me away and legitimately made me sad and have an epiphany about life. Definitely recommend!!!
9.5/10
I just wish the main story was a little longer. 90% of my time in-game was side missions and side gigs. The main story is fantastic but it is a lot shorter than you'd think for it being this big of a game.

Great game. There should've been more references to the earlier games though, it feels like Artyom forgot where he came from and his old buddies like Khan and Hunter. Other than that, great story, and great lengthy campaign. DLC's are great additions too, but don't play them until you finish the main story.

It is a 5 hour game. If you want something long, and absolutely replayable, this isn't your game. But don't go! This is like no other shooter. In other shooter games, you're just some faceless robot who caps thousands of enemy soldiers and gets rewarded as an All-American Hero and get the good ending. But this is not the case. Here, you kill enemy HUMANS. Your morality will be greatly tested, and before your eyes, your character will physically and mentally degrade as the war takes its toll on him. Sure, it is replayable, but the main punches of the story are in certain parts. But it makes you think real good about the game, and even think about life, such as mental health and PTSD. Oh yeah, this game exposes PTSD in a light that Call-Of-Kiddy won't ever even think about. 9/10 game. Would be a 10/10 if the movement controls weren't so wonky, but you can get around it easy.

This is, by far, the best game I have ever played.

The best story I had ever seen and witnessed or heard in my entire life.

I’m sorry if this review isn’t as “informative” as some other professional people with their check boxes and criteria. But human typing here, the story just makes me want to cry tears of joy. To see how the gang evolved through the chapters, the significance of every moment, the ending. (No spoilers here, keep reading!)

I felt like I was playing a book, and I never felt like I was wasting my time. It’s pure beauty.

“10/10”? No. Words can’t describe it. I’m literally at a loss of words, I just finished the campaign.

If anything, it’s the only game in my life that I WANTED to sit through the whole credits to see how the characters are off. That’s significant to me.

Who ever is reading this, though it will probably get buried in the massive amount of reviews, if you’re like me and look for games that still have good stories in our time of low quality games, I beyond recommend this. This game is a story to me now, a good story of a family I’ll never forget.

Almost everything was just perfect. Sure, some graphics and FPS here and there, but the important stuff was dead on. Perfect soundtrack, beautiful character writing, amazing character development, epic moments. But don’t take my word for it, try it yourself!

Every hour was worth it, and every hour longer made it better.

Cheers, Rockstar. You never fail to impress.

Definitely a awesome game. Though some missions are predictable and repepitive, like run and gun, it's still a great story with actual emotion, unlike Aidan who's dead inside. Beautiful game for even the casual, though Ubisoft could of made the ending less predictable, this game gave me a great vibe. Should cost more than $60!
