I have been a fan of this game series for over ten years and have finished it a few times. 3rd game was a giant leap. 4th game has brought little additions, but the 5th game is just the peak.
-Fascinating story(Are we living in a simulation?)
-Nostalgic characters
-Prolonged gameplay time
-A reward system for achievements
-Fun and mysterious secrets(maybe creepy sometimes)
-Satisfactory use of RPG elements
-Pretty sick OST(Check out Phyrnna)
If you want to see the whole story, play all the games in the series (but the 1st and 2nd games are a bit outdated). Seeing how the game series significantly improved over the years by playing the games is an outstanding experience.
Matt Roszak is a great and innovative developer.
