I'm going to be laconic on this one:
The 3D models are hideous and the AI. I'd say it reminds me of a Granny mobile game clone. For instance, in the hotel the skinstealer is chasing me so i hide in the closet, he never goes away and when I get out I'm either stuck in front of him or even INSIDE him. That didn't make the level unplayable though as I could hide in the bathroom and occasionally get grabbed through the wall. Also, one word: DOG. I haven't seen a most annoying enemy since the release of Dark Souls 2. The sound it makes is infuriating, and its code it so poorly written... I blind it with the flashlight, it goes away, then it realises that I'm here and comes again! Better not talk about level FUN! they could have done a far better job it was just holding ctrl (my finger hurts) and hearing this mind numbing music.
The atmosphere and the levels are pretty decently designed even though I expected more of the poolrooms, which was the prettiest level in the game. That is not enough though. I know this is an early access game and I may be too harsh but I'm really disappointed as I was expecting something better from the trailer and the pictures.

Edit: Tried multiplayer, horrific. Got kicked off every single sever, made my own and played with a 12 year old that mysteriously disappeared when we entered the second level :/

The game's atmosphere really touched me, it is unique and makes me feel disturbed but simultaneously comforted. While the puzzles are not really challenging and I encountered some glitches, the experience, the story and the atmosphere make up for it. Also, the message is conveyed perfectly and it is really thought provoking. But I'm not going to spoil it for you, go play the game!

Awful gameplay, badly optimized, stupid storyline, in need of bug repellent. It just takes space in your hard drive.

This game may be unnervingly short, may not have nice graphics or anything that looks good in today's standards but it is so freaking traumatising and touching. The static speaks my name is disturbing. It does't have jumpscares, gore or ghosts and monsters. All the models are low poly and there are no detailed textures or shaders. It is simple but yet so realistic. It basically tells a story, a story of a person so wrecked and desperate that has an obsession over a painting depicting two single palm trees. The painting may be a reflection of harmony that you want so dearly, but cannot achieve. The comical aspect of the game - if you can call it that- does not break its seriousness as it should do, it actually makes the whole experience more harrowing. The end is devastating, and it was so abrupt that left me speechless. Let's say the feelings are no more and static speaks your name. This game is definitely not for people who suffer from mental illness, its made to alert the rest of us, and yes does it achieve its purpose; taking into account that I played this game four years ago but here I am remembering every single detail.

This game might be a classic but I'm still going to note some things that impressed me the most.
First of all, I adored the gameplay. Everything, may be chaotic on the one side but it is simultaneously so smooth and pleasing! The enemies being agile but not running at you mechanically differentiates it from the other shooter games of the same category. I also enjoyed the level design, not too complicated but enough to make you think. The character animations are pretty unique and a bit comical in my opinion. I shouldn't forget the music of course, so well made and enjoyable even for someone who doesn't listen to metal like me.
