Game doesn't suck, but I have some recommendations for the dev, assuming he sees this.
Removing the labels from the menu options was a bad idea, and I had to visit an external guide to see what each symbol even means.
Also it seems to freeze up and crash like 1 in every 7 runs.
Otherwise, very good game for the low, low price of free!

Worth it for the campaign alone

I loved seeing all the borders around the lands

Might as well play this instead of Portal 3

This isn't really a strong recommendation btw.
The story is very interesting and the art style is great, but the puzzles get really frustrating and less straightforward in the second act. If this won't deter you from this game, great, but otherwise you can just watch a walkthrough of the game and give yourself an equally enjoyable and much less frustrating experience.

Ultimately this game's greatest strength is that you have probably been here before.

First of all, the camera definitely adds to the whole 'found footage' aesthetic this game was trying to achieve. The grainy, fish-eye view of the game camera makes you feel like you're exploring with only the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ camera on hand. Even the lower frame rate adds to this illusion. (idk if it's intentional, my system can do 60+ fps but it doesn't)

Second, the levels basically look and feel endless, with an unnerving sense of familiarity to it all; if you've been inside any kind of building, there might be some stretch of it that looks familiar. This is basically what made the Backrooms so scary in the first place. The complete lack of any entity chasing you down will be disappointing to some, but personally I think it works as it adds to the greatest horror of all: you are truly alone.

If you want an authentic Backrooms experience that goes back to basics without "oooo we stuffed every SCP we could in here how scawy", I cannot recommend this enough. Even If you don't enjoy this, at least it's free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Creative but adding checkpoints would have been welcome.

I have spent more time in mod manager than actually playing this game lmao.

Free to play but not enjoy. And I also mean in terms of hard drive space. Also you will have no idea WTF the story is about.

(Also I know that 5.3 hours gameplay is hardly a lot, but I mostly played this game on PS4 before I got the PC version)
