No no no no NO. Power level HIGH with a 4 minute cook time. It will NOT take 4 minutes, but you need to be in the vicinity of the microwave to check both smell and sound. If you smell even a whiff of that burning/smoky/"off" smell, cut it. Ideally though, you want to let the bag pop until there's roughly 2 seconds between pops which means it's ready. You might not get every last kernel, but bagged microwave popcorn that overcooks/burns is just FOUL. If you REALLY want to get fancy (by which I mean put in just the bare minimum amount of effort), just cook it yourself on the stove. Get a thing of kernels (maybe like 4 bucks at the store, will last way longer than the microwave bags) and either the popcorn oil/flavoring that's usually right next to it on the shelf OR a bottle of coconut oil (trust me on this)
