Takumi Fujiwara is a high school student with an innate sense of drifting on mountain roads. A natural racer, he knows nothing about mechanics and considers driving (including racing) to be boring. Over time, he is noticed by local amateur racing teams, and under pressure from friends and acquaintances, he becomes the Legendary Ghost of Akina, who competes with the most famous racers in the prefecture. When Takumi graduates from high school, he has a goal - to become the fastest driver on the streets.
