MA Flight LCD

Mô tả
Mod that adds LCD overlay to vanilla flight seat. The flight seat is not modified.

Simply place the LCD in the block space behind the flight seat, the LCD is offset to cover up the bright blue and let you set up as you see fit.

It's a bit shorter than normal LCD, full res outputs from scripts or images will have the bottom clipped off. For monospace image from Whip's converter try custom resolution of 178x60.

Special thanks to Equinox for script which fixes view issue when in seat.

Bonus: Since it's a separate block, you can paint it differently for 2-tone seat! That's worth a lot of extra horsepower.

Update: 7.4.18: Fixed script having incompatibility with itself running on similar mods.

Update 4.27.18: Added workstation variant! You still need to use flight seat base to get 1st person view but the LCD will cover either one.

Update 4.5.18: Lowered the top of flight seat a little bit for better visibility. Added LOD models.
Update 3.21.18: Added another section to bottom of seat to extend into cube as a handle to weld/grind on.

Just wanted to let you know I STILL use this on all of my large grid ships. It provides a bigger screen than the stock flight seat and I like the way it works with Automatic LCDs.

However, if you could make it into two, or even three smaller screens in the same area it would be that much more useful, kinda like the cockpits have extra screens. Just a thought for an update, if you like, and one I would be on like bees on honey, to be honest.

I wouldn't say it's obsolete -- just that you can use it for purposes other than which it was originally intended. For example, this remains a very slick way to get a wall-mount console without actually mounting to the wall.

Yes and no, until certain scripts learn to recognize Cockpits this still lives

this isn't able to be put on the updated flight seat that keen changed... can you please update this?
