While it may be possible to edit the geometry and correct the layout, I'm afraid doing so would be a pretty laborious task that I just don't have the time to undertake.
I found the model "good enough" to use, as my focus was more on creating the fun Easter egg tie-ins for people to find. Perhaps in the future someone with a finer eye for detail will upload their own Workshop environment for us to enjoy!
I appreciate the love and support everyone has shown for this little hobby of mine! These environments were the first VR work I had done, and I'm pleasantly surprised to learn people are still visiting and enjoying them!
I had to use func_door_rotating back when I made this because prop_door_rotating wasn't working properly at the time.
I've heard it's since been patched and given more functionality though. Here's a tutorial I found for how to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8lRppb1vQg
If you want to try the method I used, here's a discussion page that helped me out (I would try the other way first though): https://ad.gamersky.info/@steamcommunity.com/workshop/discussions/18446744073709551615/1739964947824138936/?appid=250820
