This guide will take you through all the achievements of Stronghold 2 Steam Edition and how to obtain them

Important notice:

• This is the first guide I ever created on Steam, so any suggestions to improve it is gladly welcomed.
  
• English is not my first language, so there may be some mistakes here and there. Again, any suggestions to improve this guide is kindly welcomed.

For the following achievements, you will need to start a kingmaker game, as duke (in order to have many resources at the start) and have an advantage over the A.I. (7500 gold vs 2500 gold).

Role Call
Recruit all Barracks troops in a game


Just place a barracks and armory and train all the troops.

Band of Others
Recruit all Mercenary Camp troops in a game


Place a Mercenry Camp and train the troops. The only thing to mention is that some troops require honor to train, especially the assassin, which requires 200 honor. So you have to accumulate some honor beforehand and afterwards train every mercenary.

Overengineering
Recruit all Siege Equipment in a game


Place a Engineering's Guild and a Siege Camp, train some Engineers and recruit all siege engines at the Siege Camp.



These achievements require you to win a game whilst recruiting a certain type of units (ranged, melee and monks). If you want an easy time,you can create a custom map where you own the majority of the territory. In this case, you enemy cannot develop and you will have an easy time. You can start a Multiplayer game with a friend and just send the certain unit type at their Lord.

Just Charge It
Win a Skirmish or Multiplayer Game, Recruiting only Melee Troops


Death From Over There
Win a Skirmish or Multiplayer Game, Recruiting only Ranged Troops


Guess Who's On Our Side?
Win a Skirmish or Multiplayer Game, Recruiting only Monks

For these achievements, again, it is recommended to start a Kingmaker game, as a Duke, because in this case you will have a lot of resources. You can also try creating a custom map, where the enemy only has a small territory. In that case he will not be able to develop and attack you, and you can freely build as you wish.

Architect of the Year Award
Place at least one of every building type in the game


Pretty self explanatory, you just need to build every single building available in the game.


Locally Grown
Build 50 staple food Farm Buildings in one game



Let Us Eat Cake
Build 25 Royal Food Buildings in one game


For these achievements you just need to place 50 farms that produce food for the granary and 25 farms that produce food for feasts.


Larder Lover
Accumulate 1,000 Granary Food in one game



Elite Meat
Accumulate 250 Royal Food in one game


You can also buy the food, you do not need to produce it. All it is required is for you to own 1000 granary food / 250 royal food.


Party Like It's 999
Hold the Largest Feast Size


For this achievement, you will need to have all the royal foods at once (you can buy them at the market) and wait for the achievement to pop after the feast is done.


For Your Health!
Consume 1,000 Ale in one game. (It's cleaner than the water)


This is a time consuming achievement. After you build an Inn, you will need to wait for it to consume 1000 ale barrels. Buy any necessary ale or build hop farms and breweries.


Golden Rule
Accumulate 10,000 Gold in one game


As long as you keep your hapiness level up (extra rations, religion, ale etc.) you can get the taxes high and after getting 10.000 gold the achievement will unlock.


Do the crime, do the time.
Use Every Punishment Building in a Game


This one is a bit tricky, but not hard. The achievement states that you need to use the buildings, not just have them. The way it works is that some workers / villagers may turn to crime. You will first need a Courthouse and some Guard Posts so you can arrest the criminals. Then you will need a Torturer's Guild and one of these Torture buildings, so you can punish the wrongdoers. I suggest only having one torture building and after it has been used, delete and get to the next one. Do this until your achievement unlocks.


Meat and Greet
Hold 100 Feasts


Saturday Knight
Attend 100 Jousting Tournaments


Overstudious Understudy
Attend 100 Plays


These achievements are just time consuming. You will need a Royal Kitchen for the feasts. Afterwards, just keep producing/buying some royal food necessary for the feast. You do not need all the foods for the feasts, this only gives you more honor.
For the jousting you will need a Jousting building and for the plays you will need a Travelling Fair.
You can leave your PC running over night or when you are working and eventually you will unlock all of the achievements.

The easiest way to get these achievements is to start a skirmish, work your way towards defeating the enemy Lord and just before finishing him, save the game. Afterwards, you will just have to load the game 200 times in order to get these 3 achievements.

Computer Tamer
Win 10 Skirmish Games vs. A.I.


No Country for Old A.I.
Win 50 Skirmish Games vs. A.I.


A.I. Is No Match for I
Win 200 Skirmish Games vs. A.I.

For these achievements it is required to have a friend and play multiplayer with him. Help each other out and get 200 wins each. If you have trouble finding someone, you can ask in the discussion section of Stronghold 2
I cannot confirm this yet, but it is possible to get a win when the opponent exits the game. I know it worked in Stronghold Legends.

Lord Conquerer
Win 10 Multiplayer Games


I Had This On CD-ROM!!
Win 50 Multiplayer Games


I Have No Equals and Don't Play the Sequels
Win 200 Multiplayer Games!

My Kingdom Makes Me Hoarse
Your Lord Dies


This is pretty self explanatory. Just get your Lord killed. You can do this multiple ways.


Heirs Apparent
The Lord Gets Married!


In order to obtain this one, you will have to construct the Lady's Bedchamber. Your Lord will keep visiting her and after some time they will get married.


Lupus Minimus
Kill 50 Wolves in one game


This achievement will be unlocked during the 4th mission of the Sim Campaign.


Dung Battle
Collect 1000 Gong


Rat Kablooie
Kill 10,000 Rats


These achievements are very time consuming. Keep playing and use Gong Pit for collecting Gong and Falconer's Post for rats and you will eventually unlock them. Note that the achievement progress might be bugged when viewing your achievement list.
