SBTF has 15 different map themes to choose from. The guide will go through these in the order they appear in the editor mode's Style menu.

If regular and alternative styles differ, they are connected with a '+' sign.

Color fields represent the color which dominates that setting, so if there is a thick-enouch blue stripe on every wall, it will be considered blue instead of black, white or gray.

Ideal for research-gone-wrong scenarios.



Maintenance area with standard research access.
Great for some claustrophobic shaft-crawling.



Civilian station area with maintenance access.
It can be used for a docking area for civilian transport.



Space vessel corridors with walkways over chasms.
Feels like an old, abandoned space vessel.



Facility walkways over chasms with support segments.
Feels like a spatious, abandoned facility.



Sewage area with walkways over chasms.
Sewer system, hazmat recycling, maybe a military access-tunnel.



Space vessel corridors with maintenance access.
The dim red lights indicate a state of general power failure or other permanent alert state.



Monitoring area with space vessel access.
The green displays hint at monitoring or access to infrastructure.



Fluid refinery area with civilian station access.
The barrels hint at liquids being produced here, but the station segments can be used for an uncluttered docking area.



Ventilated cargo area with corridors.
Cubic shapes and lots of vent grill textures make this place feel like a storage facility.



Dark tube network with cryo-sleep facility access.
Can be used for hybernation themes, but the regular pipes could imply a boiler room as well.



Electric maintenance area with corridor access.
Possibly good for simulating something like a railway system or military accessway to a secure facility.



A space station with prison cells or living quarters.
Gives a liminal space or urban exploration vibe to the map.



Wall-mounted server towers and thick mainframe data-tube segments.
Very atmospheric, gives off strong Doom 3 and Doom 2016 vibes.



Realistic style bright space-station.
It can be used for more realistic/contemporary space facilities.
