"So there I was NCO leading the Union forces to victory. In the air men brought up truce so the officer told us we would truce. All failed of course rebels being rebs. Reckless. No Mercy as our men died. So the Union fired back. The officer at the time of negotiation dies, and I was surprised to hear him state, "Welp there goes our truce". So immediately following my officers lead I told my men to hold fire, and unfix bayonets. They listened and now we stand bayonet less, and shoulder to shoulder. I told them to hold along this stone wall. I start to scout and as I glimpse ahead I see the golden opportunity for a truce as if god had put the pieces in place. The HEAD confederate officer in front of his delayed men moving forward. Without hesitation I told myself get to him before you die get to him before you die. I got right up to him, and with my shattered and beaten voice I told him I was the main organizer for the Union forces and that my men are bayonet less holding fire attempting to truce. So he pulled his men back to point. (I am dead on the ground at this point my men watched me die and some started shooting at the rebs.) I was unable to relay the truce agreement in effect to my men and they started shooting and getting reckless. I spawn main no other option time is at hand. I charge toward my men and start running through some corn. As I got to my men I relay the truce negotiation was a success, but now my men had opened fire on them so the rebs were shooting us. I ordered my men no bayonet and slow marching towards the rebs. Shoulder to shoulder closer and closer one by one we die and die to the rebs. I tell my men, "do not fire back". We get so close the rebs one by one slowly stop firing, and next thing you know. I get right up in there face and I tell that rebel ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, "Merry Christmas". We gathered around happy celebrating what we had accomplished. I gathered everyone for a group photo and they listened. This is the photo. This is . . art. So for a final goodbye I call the confederate officer into a meet up, and I tell him to get his men in line in the open field I'll get my men to do the same, and in a final act of brotherhood we charged each other in the most organized way possible.
