Features

This mod adds the ability to convert units of Gnoblars into Meat.

This can be done by selecting Gnoblars on the units panel, then pressing the new ‘prepare a feast’ button to convert them into Meat. If you’re having trouble finding it, the button appears on the bottom bar, in the same place as Slaanesh’s devotee armies, whenever you have a valid ogre army selected.

Each eaten unit replenishes 10 Meat. You can eat up to four units at once.

Additionally, this mod adjusts the food costs of ogre units:
- Gnoblars cost 0 food to maintain.
- Gorgers and Maneaters cost 2 food to maintain.

This tradeoff is intended to encourage the usage of Gnoblars, as opposed to just replacing them with more elite troops.

Compatibility

This mod will be compatible with all other mods except for those that modify meat upkeep costs for vanilla units . This includes some overhauls, such as Radious.

Besides that it is compatible with everything. However, Gnoblar units added by other mods won’t be edible unless the mod author sets them up to work with this mod.

This mod should be compatible with multiplayer games in both simultaneous and consecutive turns modes.

For some reason this mod cause units with undead, demonic or similar traits to display two blank traits using the fear icon rather than the intended traits. Also uninstalling after eating gnoblars can cause crashing.

@DrunkFlamingo Hi. Thanks for the mod, but gotta ask..do you think version without datacoring would be possible? When datacored values are moved to your own table all actually seem to work fine. That could make this way more compatible :)

somehow this mod at least to me causes that sticky tooltips dont work on units,lord and so on.
does anybody have any solution? except disabling mod already tried to run game with only this mod. still the same result.

Somehow this mod still works, even with SFO, lol scripts are so useful, wish I could have the same skill to deal with them. I am trying to "reverse engineering" this mod to figure it out how to add other units the Ogres could eat besides the gnoblars, also if it's possible to increase the meat value if you eat the slave giant for example. Hope the author can help me out

Did a bit of testing and discovered that this with the Great Ogre-haul causes Warhammer 3 to freeze when loading it up (before any cutscenes or menus load). Tested it with just the camp moving mod and it worked fine there, so its apparently with something in the bigger mod.

I started playing Chorfs and thought to myself, isn't it silly they didn't make it so you can convert orc & gobbo labourers, into Labour resource.

This mod is currently working as well with SFO.
