i did take some time (i just wondered why some games where still there, thought i had removed them already, but just removed them again... it did not occur to me that this is just such a massive bug). the games unremoved have been added to the wishlist starting february 2022.

Did you notice right away or did it take some time before you cheecked?

Yeah, since it is in client it definitely would not have helped. I'm glad there is a manual script workaround. I remember many years ago how Steam would keep games on the wishlist if the user was gifted it. Seems like a bug that keeps cropping up in some way or another.

@comp9: yes, they are green because of enhanced steam, otherwise they would be even harder to spot in a 1000 game wishlist. Knight Avenger sent me a console script that allowed me to remove them now, one by one... took some time, but it worked and my day in the office was boring anyway. Disabling the extension would have been a good idea - but since the bug happens in the client, too, it probably wouldn't have helped.

Do you have enhanced steam or an extension? I'm curious why they are green... Maybe disable the extension?

If it's a game you bought a Steam key from, there is a mod to remove it, but it's a pain to do so.

That is SUPER weird. I've never seen that bug. Every time I buy a game in my wish list, it is automatically removed from the list. I hope this gets resolved for you. What a pain!
