What's the matter Sidney? You look like you've seen a ghost
By dycosplays
Hey you, yes you! I'm talking to you! Are you playing as a Ghostface? Tired of the infuriating survivors? Do you want to prevent them from being cured once again? Do you want their asses to be nothing but embers? Do you want to read offensive comments about yourself after the endgame? Then you are at the right address!

There are certain rules you must abide by to kill a surv in DBD
So, before you start, I need to give a kind of base in order for the game for the Ghostface to become more effective. Since I myself only main the Ghostface, I give examples from my experience.
1. NEVER, DO YOU HEAR ME, NEVER MARK A SURV FROM AFAR, BECAUSE HE WILL IMMEDIATELY RUN AWAY AND YOU WILL SIMPLY LOSE HIM!!!!!!!!!
In this case, it is better to bring the mark to 99%, approach unnoticed (at least try) and only then mark and hit! Here u go, the first hanged in the pocket.
2. If you mark a surv or survs, then do not stand in one place, because experienced survs look around. Become their nightmare!
3. When they try to drive you into the so-called loop, use the "Night Shroud" ability. (does not work on all maps)
What are the advantages:
- Surv does not see your red glow and the radius of terror
- Surv (if he's not an idiot of course) will definitely fall into your ghostie trap
Disadvantages:
- You will waste a precious ability, because the surv will deactivate it when you knock him down
- Well u have to wait for the Shroud to be restored, so u have to run a little for survs, unless of course if the generators are running out.
4. Try to bring the mark on all the survs to 99%. Will help you when you start a new chase. You approach - you mark - you knock him down.
5. Squatting is a good plus for u, especially when there is a variation to catch a surv when he fixing the generator!
6. You'll spend time on it, but it's worth it, so DON'T BE LAZY:
- Breaking generators
- Breaking palettes
- Climb over the windows (sometimes you can catch a stupid surv)

7. If the surv sits at the generator, which is near the palette, then it is better to approach from the side of the palette. So you can: complete the mark; Surv will start running in the other direction; you will definitely knock him (if they don’t cover it)
8. And don't be afraid to miss the survs, it happens to everyone. Even if they outplayed you and everyone ran away, and this guide turned out to be ♥♥♥♥, don't give up! The Ghostface in the movies has flown in a lot of times, and every Ghostface has lost(in movies ofc), so this is normal!
Look for yourself, my first day as a Ghostface in dbd looked exactly like this:
Do you like scary movies?
Let's talk a little about addons.

My favourite:
- Philly: Reduces the time required to Mark a Survivor by -20 %.
Thanks to this, you will mark survs even faster

- Cinch Straps: Night Shroud remains active after missing a Basic Attack.
Oooooh, don't be afraid to spend the shroud, because it won't be lost because of an unsuccessful strike

- Olsen's Address Book: Marked Survivors rushing an action reveal their Aura for 5 seconds.
The marked surv, will be highlighted with sharp actions, use this to deceive him and knock him down

- Olsen's Wallet: Breaking a Pallet or Breakable Wall immediately recharges Night Shroud.
When the shroud is deactivates for you, and the pallet is thrown off break it, then it will immediately recover! And, let's say, it will help you mark a survivor who has a mark of 80%

- Night Vision Monocular: Whenever a Survivor reveals The Ghost Face, they suffer from the Exhausted Status Effect for 5 seconds.
You're literally tying survs hands. Now only his legs will help him

- Drop-Leg Knife Sheath: Grants a 10 % Haste Status Effect for 5 seconds after Marking a Survivor.
You marked the surv and flew up to him like a bullet to perform a fatal strike!

- Driver's License: When Marking a Survivor repairing a Generator, the Generator explodes and loses -20 % of its Progression.
The affected Generator becomes blocked for the next 15 seconds.
Marking multiple Survivors on the same Generator will only apply the penalty once.

Bro, it's just gold! Marked surv + blocked the generator + broke it! PROFIT
You never told me your name…[why do you need to know my name?] Because I want to know who I’m looking at.
Okay, for this BUILD i use this perks:
- I’m all ears: Any Survivor performing a rushed action within 48 metres of your location has their Aura revealed to you for 6 seconds. This perk can only be triggered once every 60/50/40 seconds.

(This perk is useful because it helps to see the aura of a surv, who, for example, jumps through a window, so it will be easier for you to see where to run, to hit or knock him)

- Pop Goes the Weasel: After hooking a Survivor, Pop Goes the Weasel activates for the next 35/40/45 seconds: The next Generator you damage instantly loses -20 % of its current Progression. Regular Generator Regression applies afterwards, and Pop Goes the Weasel deactivates.

(Recently hung up surv? RUN TO THE GENERATOR THAT IS BEING REPAIRED, BREAK OFF THE WHOLE BUZZ TO THE FIXER)

- Lethal Pursuer: At the start of the Trial, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to you for 7/8/9 seconds. Extends the duration of a Survivor's Aura being shown to you by +2 seconds.

(You will see where the survs are going, which means you will know what they are doing. Therefore, you will be able to approach from a favorable place, mark the surv, and then knock him)

- Fearmonger: Whenever a Survivor is repairing a Generator, they have Blindness and Exhausted Status Effects.

(THEY DON'T SEE YOU, BRO, GUT THEM LIKE A FISH, USE YOUR SUPERIORITY)

Oh, it's you sneaking up on surv:
Corn syrup. Same stuff they used for pig's blood in Carrie.
Okay, for this BUILD i use this perks:
- Sloppy Butcher: Wounds inflicted by successful attacks considerably increase the Survivor's bleeding frequency and cause the Mangled status effect. Bleeding and Mangled effects caused by Sloppy Butcher return to normal once the Survivor is fully healed.

(Slice and dice! Surv will be healed much longer, especially if there are 2-3 of them, then the next perk for a couple with this will HELP a LOT )

- A Nurse’s Calling: The Auras of Survivors, who are healing or being healed, are revealed to you when they are within a range of 20/24/28 metres.

(For this, the surveyors will call you a noob, but who cares? You need to kill them all, so remember what I wrote above? Here you go and see a surv being treated or a surv being treated. The next perk along with these will also be useful!)

- Hex: Ruin: Whenever a Survivor is not repairing a Generator, it will immediately and automatically regress its Repair progress at 50/75/100 % of the normal Regression speed. Once any Survivor is killed by any means, Hex: Ruin deactivates and reverts its Hex Totem into a Dull Totem.

(Hmm, here's the surv fixing the generator, and then you hit and send him to the other end of the map to lick his wounds. Oh, this is the greatest fun. You're going to love this. THE GENERATOR BREAKS DOWN BECAUSE HE RAN AWAY, THAT'S THE DEAL)

- Dying Light: Each time you hook a Survivor other than your Obsession, you gain 1 Token: For as long as the Obsession is alive, all other Survivors suffer from a stack-able 2/2.5/3 % penalty to Repairing, Healing, and Sabotaging speeds per Token, up to a maximum of 22/27.5/33 % or 11 Tokens. The Obsession is unaffected by this penalty and instead granted a permanent 33 % Action Speed bonus to Unhooking and Healing other Survivors.

(Yeah, you're going to love this one. It's a scream, baby. Because of this perk, the survivors will be healed(and fixing gens) even longer!!!! The main thing is not to touch your object of obsession, you can leave 99% marks on it to kill it last!)

Bro, it's literally you at the end of the game:

If you hang up on me you’ll die just like your mother! Do you wanna die Sidney?
Okay, for this BUILD i use this perks:
- Corrupt Intervention: At the start of the Trial, the 3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds.

(Imagine: The beginning of the game, the survas have just loaded, and the generators next to them are blocked for as much as 2 minutes! They will probably hide, go to other generators. BUT IT WILL BE MORE INTERESTING LATER)

- Lethal Pursuer: At the start of the Trial, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to you for 7/8/9 seconds. Extends the duration of a Survivor's Aura being shown to you by +2 seconds.

(You load with them, and you have a very cool advantage. YOU SEE THEM. SO GO AHEAD, SHOW THEM WHO'S HERE DADDY)

(Everything is so clear here. Start the chase and don't worry about the generator, it's already breaking down (until the totem is cleared))

- Barbecue and Chili: After hooking a Survivor, all Survivors who are at least 60/50/40 metres away from that Hook have their Aura revealed to you for 4 seconds.

(It will help you see where the surv are sitting or repairing generators, so don't waste time in vain! Then everything depends on you're skill)

The face of survs the whole game:

I'm Going To Slit Your Eyelids In Half So You Don't Blink When I Stab You In The Face
Okay, for this BUILD i use this perks:

- Enduring: You are resilient to pain. Recovery rate of stuns caused by physical objects is increased by 25/50/75 %.

(Everything is simple here, a pallet is dropped on you, you recover faster, it is very useful with further perks!)

- Spirit Fury: Each Pallet you break magnifies the wrath of The Entity. After breaking 4/3/2 Pallets, Spirit Fury activates:The next time you are stunned by a Pallet, The Entity instantly breaks it. The normal Stun penalty still applies.

(You recovered thanks to the previous perk and now you're breaking the pallet. Break another one, and the next one will break automatically, and Enduring will help you recover and knock the surv faster.)

- Nemesis: You seek retribution on those who have wronged you. Any Survivor who blinds you or stuns you using a Pallet becomes the Obsession. Anytime your Obsession switches to another Survivor by any means, that Survivor then suffers from the Oblivious Status Effect for 40/50/60 seconds and their Aura is revealed to you for 4 seconds.

(Oblivious will help you to deceive the surv if he tries to deceive you!)

- Lethal Pursuer: At the start of the Trial, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to you for 7/8/9 seconds. Extends the duration of a Survivor's Aura being shown to you by +2 seconds.

(Here, as usual, you found the survs faster, you started killing them faster!)

Lol, surv really thought that he would throw off the pallets endlessly:
This isn’t a comedy, it’s a horror movie. People live, people die, and you better start running.
Okay, for this BUILD i use this perks:
- Lethal Pursuer: At the start of the Trial, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to you for 7/8/9 seconds. Extends the duration of a Survivor's Aura being shown to you by +2 seconds.

(And so, it's simple, it's not the first time I've written about this perk. Helps to see where the survs are at the beginning of the game.)

- Fearmonger: Whenever a Survivor is repairing a Generator, they have Blindness and Exhausted Status Effects.

(Here you saw where the survs or surv is sitting, you approach him, you hear him or them repairing the generator. This perk will prevent them from feeling your presence and seeing your red glow. Mark them and strike!)

- Surge: Your eerie presence charges the air and interferes with technology. Putting a Survivor into the dying state with a basic attack causes all generators within a 24 meter radius to instantly explode and regress. This applies an additional regression of 12%.

(Thanks to this perk, you will be able to roll back the progress of the generator. Just hit the surv (preferably with a mark) and you will see the result.)

- Surveillance: Any regressing generator will be highlighted by a white aura. If the regression is interrupted on a generator, it will be highlighted by a yellow aura for 16 seconds.
Noises created by generator Repairs are audible at an additional 8 meters.

(This perk is many times better than the "Discord" perk, every broken generator that has been repaired will be highlighted. If they start fixing it again, you'll see it. Remember the previous perk? A useful combo.)

This is you marking an unsuspecting surv:
I think I have just enough time to slice someone open!
This BUILD was advised by Crisis :
- Corrupt Intervention: 3 Generators located furthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 120 seconds at the start of the match. Survivors cannot repair the generators for the duration. Affected generators are highlighted by a white aura.

(It's simple, it blocks 3 generators for 2 minutes, giving you the opportunity to start the massacre before the generators are repaired.)

- Sloppy Butcher: Wounds inflicted by successful attacks considerably increase the Survivor's bleeding frequency and cause the Mangled status effect. Bleeding and Mangled effects caused by Sloppy Butcher return to normal once the Survivor is fully healed.

(The longer they are healed, the higher the chance to knock them out faster.)

- Rancor: You become obsessed with one Survivor. Each time a Generator is completed, your Obsession sees your aura for 3 seconds. Each time a Generator is completed, all Survivors' locations are revealed to you for 3 seconds. Once all generators are completed, the Obsession has the Exposed status effect and you can kill your Obsession. The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

(Your ♥♥♥♥♥ for this game. In the end, you can make a free memento mori on him, and he won't even need to be marked, just hit him.)

- Deadlock: You induce mental suffering by crushing any hope of escape. After a generator is repaired, The Entity blocks the generator with the most progress for 20/25/30 seconds. You see its white aura during this time.

(This perk will help you when survs are trying to fix several generators at once. You will see where the generator with the highest progress is located - so there may be a surv. )

You're going to look something like this when you're chopping survs into pieces:
If you want to be in the hospital, I’d be happy to put you there—in the f*cking morgue!
Okay, for this BUILD i use this perks:

- Lethal Pursuer: At the start of the Trial, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to you for 7/8/9 seconds. Extends the duration of a Survivor's Aura being shown to you by +2 seconds.

(Here, as usual, you found the survs faster, you started killing them faster!)

- Brutal Strength: Your great strength allows you to shred through your prey's defenses. Destroy dropped pallets, breakable walls, and generators 10/15/20% faster.

(It's simple, you break it faster - you get back to the chase faster.)

- Eruption: The NE-α parasite provides you with the intelligence and awareness needed to set a trap. After damaging a generator, its aura is highlighted in yellow. Whenever a Survivor enters the dying state, every affected generator explodes, losing 10% worth of progress and starts to regress. Any Survivor repairing a generator when it explodes will scream and suffer from the Incapacitated status effect for 15/20/25 seconds. Eruption has a cooldown of 30 seconds. Incapacitated prevents Survivors from healing, repairing, sabotaging, cleansing, mending or using items.

(One of the musthave perks for today. Hit the generator (with the previous perk you will do it much faster) and run to knock down the surv. If someone starts fixing this generator, the gen will explode, and the surv will not be able to do anything.)

- Starstruck: Your unmatched showmanship dazzles all. While carrying a Survivor, any other Survivors within your Terror Radius suffer from the Exposed status effect. The effect persists for 26/28/30 seconds on Survivors who leave your Terror Radius, as well as those within the radius when you hook or release the carried Survivor. Starstruck has a cooldown of 60 seconds once a Survivor is no longer carried. Exposed Survivors will be downed by basic attacks even if uninjured.

(Does it piss you off when the survs get in your way while you're carrying another surv to the hook? Starstruck will help you! Knock these bastards down with one hit!)

Bro thought he could escape:
Oh, please don't kill me, Mr. Ghostface, I wanna be in the sequel!
Well, actually something like that. You may have seen banal and obvious builds, but they are effective! Therefore, good luck to you in matches. The main thing is not to break down if you lose. Let the trolls at least choke on saliva, do not give them an extra reason to mock you. Emotions are what will get in your way, so play with a cool head!

And don't be afraid to try your own builds, be friendly and polite.
GOOD LUCK!
