#bring the console command line up by pressing shift + the "~" key above tab (US keyboard example,)
#note the console might be transparent with white text

cash (gives you +5000 gold)
gold [number]
arquebus [number]
honor [number]

debug ninja
debug alldiplo
Display all plots in character browser debug plots

If your clan is a vassal of another clan, your clan becomes independent.

age [number]
Makes the players' current character X years older


For using these cheats, enable debug id.

## will be displayed by mousing over with your pointer and checking the text box for the debug info you need

I just tried this game again, the console window is hard to se, and it's more of a line by line thing. Just try it blind :)

I actually downloaded the game from GOG (good old games) website. I don't know if this problem of mine has got anything to do with this. The tilde key (above tab) for bringing up the console command section works for bethesda games such as fallout and skyrim.

Not that the console command list is on the left side with text, there might not be any black background giving you a contrast

Do the keykindings work otherwise, like the mapmodes and combine army?
Try connecting an external keyboard?
try switching the keyboard language and find the "~" or the "`" key.

I have no idea how to fix it.... maybe ask around in the subforum at paradox interactive.

somehow I can not open the goddamn console. I pressed all the keys though. And neither can I find anything regarding this in the manual. Any suggestions?

Make sure you type this in the console.

remember to be very presice and type the correct syntax.
Console commands are not forgiving if you make a typo

Often it's the key above tab [ `] or the tilde key ~

check your settings in the options menu or the manual just to be sure :)
