Why Early Access?

“This type of roguelite deckbuilder relies on precise gameplay mechanics and balance. We cannot achieve its full potential without community feedback. By releasing Early Access, we invite the community to participate in the game’s development by sharing insights essential for refining mechanics, adjusting balance, and adding meaningful content. Community input will directly influence how we shape the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“BlueCloud Summit is planned to remain in Early Access for approximately 1 year. However, this is a rough estimate, as we will ultimately rely on player feedback to determine when the game is truly complete.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we will add a new character shaped by community feedback and insights. This new character will come with unique mechanics, at least 100 new cards, and 10 new relics. We will also add many new cards, enemies, and mechanics based on community input to ensure that the game feels more complete. However, our goal isn't to simply add more content; it's to ensure every card and mechanic serves a unique purpose.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“For early access the game will have 3 playable characters, 500+ cards, 60+ relics, and 30+ enemies.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to have feedback channels on social media, such as Discord. We will incorporate the input we receive to improve the core gameplay and adjust mechanics and cards as needed. We will be very active in directly communicating with the community.”

If Slay the Spire had Magic the Gathering like elemental factions to mix and match. You can approach the game like a traditional roguelite deck builder, opting for aggressive play styles. Alternatively, you can take a more methodical route, focusing on building up mana for long-term value or crafting unstoppable combos.

In BlueCloud Summit, unlike conventional roguelike deck builders, the emphasis is on freedom of exploration across a diverse hexagonal world. You have the choice to decide what to explore and how deeply, maximizing the opportunities available to you.
