Why Early Access?

“Flames in Modern Europe is a complex strategy game with very big ambitions and very low funding. It's being developed by one person, and I chose early access to involve players in the development process, get feedback, and gradually improve the game's mechanics, balance, and content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The exact time of the early access is not yet known. The game will be released only when it is complete, when all the promises for the full release and all the plans for it are fulfilled. This may be in six months, a year, or even longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature a unique storyline and content for most European countries, many mechanics aimed at deeper interaction with the world, such as deeper character development, redesigned combat mechanics, and significant visual improvements to both UI and 3D graphics, textures, and map detail, among other things.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of now, the game is more than playable, you can spend time with interest and pleasure in it, although there are still a significant number of bugs, and a lot of mechanics have not yet been added. But I should repeat - despite this, the game is already very interesting!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Most likely, yes. The price of the game will increase after leaving the early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I, Volodymyr Marsenko, the game's developer, actively involve players in discussions and improvements. This applies to both the Steam Community and social networks, both personal and dedicated exclusively to the game, such as Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The game also has an in-game bug report feature that all players can use.”

Flames in Modern Europe is not just a real-time global strategy game; it's also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the interesting and captivating events of modern Europe, such as Euromaidan and the Revolution of Dignity! Build a powerful economy of the Old Continent, or start a war against a neighboring state! Develop your nation, overcome political crises, and become part of the most exciting moments in modern history!

MAIN MECHANICS

  • Courses: In the country menu, you have several courses, such as political and economic. This is your plan to achieve greatness in Europe.

  • Decisions: Make important decisions for your country, such as government propaganda or money printing.

  • Economy: Build new structures that will work for the benefit of the state. Use the budget menu to adjust the expenses and efficiency of various areas of the country, such as construction, research, the army, and administration. Don't forget about the average salary!

  • Research: Investigate new technologies that will help your country become the most progressive.

  • Army: No further explanation needed... Press the red button!

This game is a fictional alternate history. All events, characters, and situations depicted in the game are a product of creative fiction and are not intended to exploit or offend any person or group of people. Any similarities to real persons are unintentional and used solely to provide realism to the gameplay. The purpose of the game is to immerse players in an alternate development of events in modern Europe, not to recreate real history or political reality.
