Lovers of Aether is a short, free and rather wholesome furry dating simulator that plays out as a visual novel with over the top slightly animalistic characters set in ye olde american high school setting. Your mission as a self inserted protagonist is to choose which archetype to court with the end goal of going to the all important prom. Will you choose the slightly dark and edgy hyena, the book devouring goat or the fun loving polar bear? It is up to you to nail awkward interactions in the corridor while nailing quizzes about fictive civilisations until you get to ask the vertebrate of your dream to a dance..

In the end this is a free, short and rather sweet game centering around a group of surprisingly fleshed out characters. Some of the characters are more intriguing than others, but I guess that is the story of life in general.. So, what we end up with is basically a rather niche fursona fighting game embracing the one thing that unites all organisms with a higher sense of being, the need to love and be loved.
