Airborne really is the only viable way to play USF since it allows you to skip Riflemen and get around the idiotic tech tree.
CoH3 Riflemen are what they should have been in CoH2.
also Rear Echelons are still by far the worst unit in the entire game.
since devs have move on, USF have at least bar-finders or m1919 meta
In the end it can easily be resumed in: "Oh no this faction does not play like i want >.<" in as i stated 90% of the time, company of heroes 2 is a broked game and that's for sure, but i always feel people here complain for the wrong reasons as such
I think we both trying to be objective. But the truth is USF are playing a awkward role, I've seen high rank (appro. Rank18) players playing USF, but when I asked them for tips, they just told me "Play Airborne or leave this faction". A nicely designed faction ought to be playable with different tactics and doctrines, that's not what USF doing however.
At some point they rolled the priest artillery to the front. basically just came to say hi and proceeded to get pak'd. At that point I realized the AI doesnt know how to play USF
The AI in this game on any mode don't understand how to do anything besides giving the enemy free weapons and support weapons and tanks and light armor lol....
imagine you think us is harder to play than brits. there is a reason brits dont get played in professional play. to be honest, both western front faction are strong. maybe not as consistent as the original two, wich leads to sovs and ost being played the most in top play but the western front factions both got some really op options(pathfinders, pazerfusiliers) and are even without commaders very good.
