Where did my save go?

Did the new update just delete my save? Or is it somewhere I can get it like through steamcloud?

You will find your saves (example "file 1.sav" and "settings.sav"). Copy those and paste them to location: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\pseudoregalia\Saved\SaveGames (reference USER is your username of PC).
Simply it seems that the location of save files have changed thus not reading your older saves.

Apparently the save isn't even deleted, it's still here in the game files. But it just doesn't appear in game. So I guess that's why downloading it won't work.

Pretty weird and annoying.

I looked in the game's files. The save's still there. Why the game is ignoring it, I have no idea.

I just checked my folder and the save still seems to be there just fine, the game does seem to have problems reading it though.
Probably best to wait for a fix or rollback update which I'm sure will come very soon.

Sucks Cause I just bought it today lol, had a great time Couldent wait to continue it after lunch turn it on and no save, had a panic attack

Very sorry about the inconvenice! Your saves are fine, theyre just in the wrong folder now. They should still be in the pseudoregalia steamapps savegames folder, and just need to be moved to the local appdata savegames folder. Will be making an offical announcement on this in a moment!

Thank you for the quick response I did this and it worked perfectly. Love the game and am happy to get back to the schmoovement.

Does anyone know where to move it if I have this on a SD card in my Steam Deck? I've never messed with any files on it before and I'm used to Windows so I have no idea what I'm doing. I can find the save but I have no idea where it goes.

Having this problem too. Where did you find the old save?

If it's on a SD card like mine then go to your removable device on the sidebar then go steamapps/common/pseudoregalia/pseudoregalia/saved/savegames. If it's on the actual deck itself I don't know but I'd assume in one of the hidden files in .steam.
