Note for 32 Bit Users on Windows, Mac and Linux

Windows Users on 32bit

We're moving a playable 32bit version of Plague Inc: Evolved to its own branch for those players still using it. We recommend upgrading to 64bit if possible.

How to change branches

To access the 'win32bit' branch:
Click on Plague Inc: Evolved > Right Click > Properties > Betas > From the drop down list choose "win32bit - Legacy Windows 32 bit build".

Mac Users on 32bit Mac / macOS 10.6 Snow Leopard Changes

We're moving a playable 32bit version of Plague Inc: Evolved to its own branch for those players still using it. We recommend upgrading to 64bit if possible[support.apple.com]

Click on Plague Inc: Evolved > Right Click > Properties > Betas > From the drop down list choose "macos32bit - Legacy OSX 32 bit build".

Linux Users on 32bit

Linux provides a multitude of options for 32bit users.

Question: why did you need to change from 32 to 64 bit for Win ver?

Hi zeroxxx, sorry for the delayed response!
To answer your question, it's because Microsoft are dropping back support for 32 bit in Windows and so we're needing to follow the Operating System going forward.

Windows still fully supports the WOW64 layer. Microsoft only dropped support for new OEM installs of 32-bit only Windows.

Valve's new Steam Link client for Windows is 32-bit by the way, as well as the core of the Steam Client.

Can you give us back the shadow plague scenario? There are quite a few official scenarios that are now completely gone. I've tried everything to fix it in case it was a bug and nothing.

Hi there, thanks for the email!

Thank you for getting in touch about this! I've asked the team about this and The Shadow Plague has not been removed from the Plague Inc: Evolved game nor the Scenario Creator. We no longer do any development on the 32bit branch but The Shadow Plague is still available on the 64bit default game. Although, Individual creators using this disease template may have removed titles they created.
