Hi everyone,
I am proud to present to you the next iteration of combat subsystems for Drone Perspective.

Squad positioning and line of fire control is now much more thoughtful: Hold Right Mouse Button for the precise unit placement both in covers and in the open.

Be cautious about the lines of fire - crossing line of fire will make friendlies cease firing, however if they don't see where they are shooting you now risk to hit friendlies.

I believe I fixed most of the pathfinding issues - from now on your units are never supposed to get stuck.

Also don't miss the Vertical Sync option in the settings menu - it makes the game incredibly smooth.

Now you also have an option to play upcoming levels before launch with Limited Patreon Early Access[www.patreon.com].

Patreon version features new level MOVE, and introduces Light Machine Gun unit Echo.
(Now your squad is complete, and the line of fire feature makes more sense, right?)
Most of major features of the base game are getting done, so I am planning to release new level every 1-2 weeks.

Your support will help me to deliver Drone Perspective without resorting to any publishers and will keep this game truly independent and community driven.

Question regarding replayability.

So let me preface this by saying, I'm very interested in this project. This game hits some sweet spots that other games have yet to manage, which is impressive. I do however have a concern regarding the game and that is the replayability value of the game. Given that the game is AFAIK story based with game mode focused on replayability, think a dynamic campaign, roguelike/roguelite mode or similar. It got me wondering wether or not such a mode is planned for the final release, since I feel like the games ...

I like this Game (dont feel presured to release early)

I have been following you from Tiktok, this game seems to have a solid concept that i really enjoy. Keep on working on it! i want to see this game evolve over the next year. Make sure you don't release to early as well or do a early access!!! whatever this game is it has something good going for it and i cant wait to see what it turns into. The UI is a little clunky when playing but unique. Also i really love how the main menu looks, this really surprised me

drone commands clunky as hell

i gave this game a try. flying the drone feels clunky as hell. whenever i want to hover around my troops i end up circling out of the map. the commands are also inverted to what normal 3d viewers are offering, Q, and E are for up and down not circling. i stopped playing after one mission as it was frustrating me how clunky it is. instead please make a 3d command like in classics age of empire. its a demo so i get it its still heavily WIP, therefore i really like the essence of it and it looks really nice...
