Final Demo Update.

Alpha 0.14.9

This should hopefully be the last patch for the free demo.
All development will now be focused toward actually finishing the game.

-Backpack now has a large auto-pickup radius and will hopefully be less likely to float in the air.

-All NPCs have had their panic rate reduced.

-Fixed weird shadows in Subway dungeon.

-Improvements made to 3D audio. (Still WiP)

-Made low-tier loot no longer seeded. (Red and blue chests and armor lockers still are)

-NPCs will be less likely to walk into poison gas towers' radius.

-Made splashing SFX quieter.

-Buffed grenade launcher damage and blast radius.

-Dead NPCs will no longer be able to take loot.

-NPCs will no longer be able to steal consumables from the player's hands.

-Slightly reduced player hunger rate.

-Trading Stalkers in safe zones will no longer sigh all the time.

-NPCs will no longer shout warnings to monsters, animals and anomalies.

-Blue locked door in Cistern will no longer take the Warehouse office key.

-Nearby items should now show up in anomaly fields.

-Fixed issue where particular roaming anomaly would spam attacks with no cool-down, often resulting in game crashing.

-Fixed issue where journals could be carried over between save files.

-Arc Wardens no longer spawn with Cultist fire teams.

-Fixed issues with Arc Warden target acquisition.

-Fixed misc AI pathing issues.

-NPCs can no longer pick up and take armed land mines.

-EMP fields now disable the Eather Detector.

-Adjusted barbed wire hitbox on fence gate in Dead Bridge so its less likely to kill you when opening it.

-Fixed issues that cause rapid water splashing while swimming.

-Fixed lockpicks and skeleton key working at infinite range.

-Fixed yet another funky ladder.

-Fixed issue where player could take treasure from bank vault through the bars.

-NPCs will no longer steal quest items.

-Fixed aggressive enemy spawns at entrances of some dungeons.

-Fixed issue where grenades would not stack into certain weapon slots that had them equipped.

-Other misc bug fixes and tweaks.

The great north late-demo

I finally made it past the army and found the wonderful northern area. Mind you getting past the army is exceedingly difficult and my disguise never seemed to work on either the men or turrets even after getting a full set of the army gear to wear. What tips would you give to those venturing north? Here are mine. You will find a bed up north, do not sleep in it. If your planning on using one of the few ways to fast travel back to your bed this bed will trap you up north. I prefer to have an artifact on...

Alpha Demo v 0.14.7 Update.

Alpha 0.14.7

-NPCs can now scavenge loot from the ground.

-Added binaural audio settings and occlusion to NPC sounds.

-Made change to death bag spawning system to hopefully make it less likely to fall through the floor.

-Tweaked spawn rates of common loot.

-Number of available contracts from each board will now slowly increase over in-game days.

-Made certain contracts exclusive to the job boards of the respective client.

-Fixed issue where some bushes could be invisible on lower foliage quality settings.

-Added images of Faction members to Faction Info panel in Journal.

-Fixed out-dated description of Freelancer faction outfits.

-Made Insurrection camo more brown so as to be less ambiguous.

-Sleeping will consume less food.

-Made TAA the default Anti-aliasing method.

-Made improvements to certain enemy models.

-Increased NPC step height so they get stuck less often.

-Fixed water physics volume on Metropol being too small.

-Fixed a few typos.

Bank key in Metro?

Just wondering if anyone has found the key for the offices and vault at the Bank ? i have the code for the vault, but i can't seem to find a key to open the gate behind it. searched every floor of the building but no dice.. havn't ran into any vendors selling a key anywhere either....

How does one gain reputation for a faction if they don't like you?

Currently sitting at "distrusted" by the left but I also did the sewer mission for them. They're immediately hostile on sight so I can't even get to the borough to hand the dang thing in and get some rep. I did see in the inventory that there are supposed to be disguises but where the hell would I even get them? Doesn't seem like any enemies drop their apparel. And would there even be an impact to the reputation if you're wearing a disguise?...

Reputation - Gain from Killing Enemies

I just wanted to suggest: allow us to gain reputation with a faction by killing members of the faction(s) they hate - at a slower rate than doing quests for them, yes, but as a viable option to build up reputation from a point that they KOS you (so that you cannot actually do quests for them)...
