I have a problem when I play with a gamepad. The potions are used automatically. This does not happen when playing with the keyboard. Is the error known, is there a solution?

With soo poor range, so many mobs and fast DOGEs ist just annoying, not hard. Or i must die a million times at first map to unlock all passives and some items just to play 2nd char?
