The mic doesnt even work. The most fundamental part of the game. good one dude. wont be playing this again any time soon

i had fun playing this game! its a game you can play through in an hour or two, and maybe 100% in a few hours. the story is pretty interesting and the world-building was intriguing to me. I also appreciated the level of gore it showed. from the trailer, i thought it would be too much for me because im a little squeamish. however, i was pleasantly surprised that it was a good mix of scary without being gut-wrenchingly gross.

the one thing i was a bit disappointed by was the non-functional microphone mechanic. when i went over the threshold, it didn't cause any negative outcomes like it said it should. i adjusted the mic, made sure it registered the right device, adjusted levels... it detected the audio inputs, but it just didn't have consequences. i intentionally started yelling to go over the sound limit to see what the triggered event would be, but it never worked. game was still fun regardless though. i think the dev team is pretty small so for the game to only have one noteworthy bug seems pretty impressive to me!

It's challenging and fun when first playing but does get cheeseable when you understand the mechanics and how to stock up on pills and batteries. All in all still really enjoyed playing it.
