(Im not denying or confirming anything tho, im just asking)
probably not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, no
I imagine releasing all this is part of trying to get people to be less reliant on valve to begin with
I think recreating QP tf2 would be cool but this would just be peak botpocalypse of 2019-2021 all over again but with less players, more likely
An entire matchmaking service (that the majority of TF2 players nowadays see as the only way they've played the game) being thrown out to try and return to an old system that also had it's problems because some old people say "trust me bro" is not gonna happen.
Literally, the only way it would even happen is if Valve got in the news for something bad involving it.
You know what we can do though?
Make casual better.
Allow spectating and free team switching.
Allow auto team scramble.
Turn the best 2/3 into a Map timer.
All that can be done with console commands, and it doesnt' even remove the stuff casual did right, like parties and the badge system, and the ability to queue for specific maps.
