I wish this version of the game had adapted some of the innovations of the Game Boy port; the nicer graphics, the multiple breeds of alien, the little boats to escape on, the undiggable areas of ground, the disappearing barriers, and I particularly miss that awesome soundtrack by Norio Nakagata. This port is just okay, but when I want to really have a good time playing "Heiankyo Alien" I'm still going back to the GB port....

For a while now, the store page talks about an idol mode, and in the game itself, the mode is greyed out and can't be played, and this has been the case for months. So i was just wondering if the deal for the idols to appear in the game fell out before they could be implemented or if this game just won't be updated anymore. Not that the game is bad, far from it, it's a great and awesome arcade game with what's available at the moment, but more content is always a good thing....

The scoring mechanics are kind of tricky to understand. I could use some help. Circling a building scores points, but it also feels like it scores additional points based on burying certain aliens. What are those conditions and rules? They do not remain circled forever. I was told that green aliens flash when they walk over buried treasure, and this is true. But those treasures appear to be affected by the multiplier, including the extra time hourglass. What are the multiplier rules? Is it level based? ...

Thanks a lot for the new HEIANKYO ALIEN version, this makes a lot of fun. I have unfortunately a small problem with the Arcade and IDOL version, in the options menu the IDOL is grayed out and can not be selected. The Arcade version can be chosen but it only starts a demo. This problem has already been reported in a USER REPORT Could she please check this Thanks for your help...

Burying aliens is all that gives me meaning in life anymore.
