A Friendly SFM Poster/Film Creation Community

All about what it says right on the virtual tin, this group is entirely devoted to the sfm posters created by myself and from group members, that simple. When you are added to this group, it is because either you have had a poster made for you by myself or any creator in the group, or you expressed interest in some aspect of sfm, be it a poster, or otherwise. As long as you enjoy Source Filmmaker you are welcome in this group.

Note: if you just stumbled upon this group, and want to join as either a creator, or as just a member, I have an application thread you can go to and say a little bit about what you want from the group. People trying to be members of the group will be accepted, more or less, 99% of the time. Potential members wishing to be creators get accepted in the same manner but creators have to go through the creator application as well as the membership application. And if you dont submit a membership application, I wont accept the request to join the group, this way I can keep the members of the group actually interested rather than just a bunch of people that wanted some group that they never plan to use.

Back In Action - A Group Rework

If you clicked on the announcement, good for you, you want to stay informed. Anyways, the point is for a while I stopped being proactive about the group, and as a result, it stagnated. So, Its time for some changes. First off, the group will now be open to the public, in hindsight the idea to make people request entry barred way too many users. Second, I want to reach out to the creators in the group and see if they are even interested anymore, and make adjustments accordingly. Third, I will be way more proactive with the group, trying to get people to join, and maybe try and get some events going, I dont know what those events would be at present, but give me time. And most importantly, I really want to encourage that the group is open for anyone to submit their art, the creators are just for those who want to request art made, or ask for help in sfm. Any user in the group is allowed to post art, they just cannot solicit their art in the group unless they go through the creator application process. And with that, my rambling is over, and you can go back to your lives if you even looked at this at all. :steamhappy:

Give them all a warm welcome as for now, I will be closing the creator application until we get more members, I dont want the group to wind up being a ghost town with creators and nothing else. With that said, if you want to be a creator, the application will be closed until we get more members. So if you want to be a creator reccomend some friends to join the group. I will open the application back up once we get 50 members in the group. I may do a poster giveaway at that point as well, but I do not know at present.
