When examining loose leaf black tea, a sure fire way to guarantee quality is to look for golden strands on the tea leaves. This gold strand means it is a higher quality tea. If a tea is labeled as OP, Orange Pekoe, It means it is of a certain grade of tea that was preferred by the Duke of Orange, not that it has orange flavor.
