Here's a collection of Garrys Mod gamemodes, they can be scary, funny, challenging etc... Enjoy! Info and title are as always given.

PropHunt (Hide'n'Seek) - Original

Prop hunt is basically like this, there are two teams, one team hunts the props and the other team hides from the ones that are hunting the props. So if you're a prop, you basically need to blend in and not get caught, you can be any prop you wish. If you're hunting the props, then you better keep an eye out for any suspicious movements or placement of props.

Murder

Murder is pretty simple, you can be three types of characters. The Sheriff who needs to protect the innocent and kill the murderer. The innocent who needs to inform the sheriff and stay alive as much as possible. The killer who basically has to kill everyone without getting caught.

Guess Who?

In this gamemode, two teams compete against eachother. One team needs to hunt down the real NPCs meaning that they are players and not NPCs which you will find in the game a lot. The other team needs to hunt down the players hiding between the NPCs, basically try and guess who is an NPC and who isn't.

Breach

Breach is an SCP gamemode where you can play as multiple characters especially the SCPs which are the monsters. There are also addon items you need to install in order to play the gamemode properly.

You Touched it Last!

You touched it last is a gamemode with a simple premise, you need to avoid getting hit by a ball. If you do however get hit by the ball then you need to pick it up and throw it at someone else!

Slashers

Slashers is a horror gamemode where one killer has to kill the rest before the survivors get all the gas cans into the generators and escape. It has most original classic killers such as Jason, Micheal Myers etc...

Cops and Runners

In this gamemode, the runners need to escape the police while the police need to do their best to keep the runners in prison until the time runs out.

Stop it Slender!

This is yet another horror gamemode, as always, there are a few survivors and a monster or killer. The survivors need to find all the pages, and avoid seeing slenderman. If the player looks at slenderman he will stop in place unable to move but at the same time ur health drowns. Slender needs to kill all the survivors before they get all the pages, slender can go invisible when he's not attacking.

The Hidden

The hidden is a gamemode where a few players are a super human that has multiple abilities (and is invisible). The rest of the players need to hunt down the 'hidden' using a variety of weapons and gear.

Melon Bomber

Ever heard of that flash game where you had four players trying to kill eachother with bombs (bomberman)? Well someone created a similar game to it called Melonbomber where four players need to kill eachother using bombs, and yes there are also cool powerups as well from the flash game.

Slave of Gmod

Ever heard of that Miami game (forgot the name lel)? Well this is a copy of it implemented into Gmod! You take a role of one character and you need to fight off random bad guys trying to take you down, and there are 20 levels for you to play on!

Zombie Survival

In this gamemode, there are two teams. The infected (and can be different types) and the survivors who have to fight them off until the time goes out. The infected need to bite the survivors in order for that survivors to turn into an infected. That's the premise of it.

Stranded

A gamemode that literally makes you feel as if you're stranded on an island. You choose the optional neccessary map, and then you try to survive. You can build and craft things, eat and create weapons, perfect roleplaying gamemode.

Dodgeball

Freeze Tag

Two teams (as always), one are the hunters who have to freeze the opponent by either touching them or using the freeze gun. If the runner is hit by the hunter then he will be frozen until another runner touches you.

Survivalist

2D Death Run

Could not find the normal death run so this is as good as it gets, here's a 2D version of deathrun. Deathrun is basically where one player has to kill off the other players by using traps, and the other players need to get to the end.

Minigames

Want to play a bunch of small minigames and compete with your friends? Well this gamemode allows you to play loads of different minigames in GMOD. Here are some custom mutations for L4D2 to make the game pretty interesting and different, some are fun, some are realistic, some are challening. So here is my list so far, enjoy!

No Infected

Wanted to explore the maps but infected didn't let that happen? Well this mod disables ALL infected although there will be some tanks and witches at the finals but they only have 1 HP so yeah.

Craft

Not Immune

Kill zombies to earn money, once u earn money. You can buy items, guns etc.. This is a pretty unique mutation to check out.

TetraMagnum

This mutation gives you a mangum, thats it. Basically it's almost like 'lone gunman' mutation. Except there are four survivors.

Yolo

Here is another challenging mutation for you, you're inches away from dying and there is no pills or health kits. Your only choice is to run and kill.

Horrific Realism Mutation

Want to make L4D2 more scary? Make it feel more like silent hill? Well this is the mutation for you! It makes the game extremely foggy and zombies are slower then before. I'm pretty sure there are mods to change the look of the zombies and characters too ;)

Locked Doors

In this mutation, you are a lone injured surivor. You start with unlimited ammo for magnum. You have to search around for items to survive, and yes some doors are locked. ;)

Gun Hunt

This is a survival mutation where guns randomly spawn around the map, so you don't start with them at one spot. You'll have to fight your way through.

Wand Massacre

This is a fun mutation where you have overpowered super melee weapons, and yes with custom models. Now you can take your anger out on those zombies the fun way!

Residue of Humanity

Ever wanted to play campaign but was dissapointed to see barely any zombies? Well this mutation fixes that! Tons and tons of zombies go after you but slowly. No specials will spawn of course. So good luck!

Barricade

Did you ever want to start building in survival mode to fight off against hordes of undead? Well here is the barricade mutation mod. It allows you to build ANYTHING from the game. And to spice things up, download the admin menu to make it feel like you have full control over the gamemode.

Tank Rush

Tank rush, it is exactly what it sounds like. You run for your life while loads of tanks are following you. And no, their health is NOT reduced in any way.

This mutation is pretty damn challenging, you are literally all alone with zombies everywhere. And you have limited ammo, you must find out a way to get to the saferoom without getting caught by the zombies. And trust me, you WILL get caught. So be careful..

True Singleplayer

True Dead

This mutation almost acts like a real zombie apocalypse, there are not so many zombies but they can catch and kill you easily. They don't run too fast or too slow, and make sure you don't make a loud sound e.g like a gunshot or else almost all of them will come after you, only use when necessary.

SI Plus

This mutation makes the infected more challenging to play against, so if you think the survivors kick your ass easily then this is the mod for you.

Biters

This gamemode makes the infected start biting you, so once you get bitten you start to bleed out, and trust me the infected LOVE the smell of blood so you are pretty vulnerable.
