For me, Dying Light 2 is a natural evolution of the series. The gameplay feels significantly improved compared to the first game—especially with all the stats, builds, and customization options, which I absolutely love. However, sometimes the animations and Aiden’s movement feel a bit off. I’m not talking about technical issues, but rather the way targeting works and how certain parkour interactions can leave you stuck at the highest point with no way to move or react.

As for the story... it had its moments, but overall, it was pretty weak. Lawan is probably the worst character I’ve come across in recent years. The boss fights still look ridiculous, but at least there were no annoying QTE, which I’m thankful for.

Despite its flaws, the game is incredibly fun to play, and I’m looking forward to earning the Platinum Trophy.
