Nier:Automata is in my opinion a "nier" masterpiece. Cringy jokes aside, this game storywise is in my opinion one of the best games I've ever played. I enjoyed the story and loved the characters.

It first seems like a fast paced game but when you really take your time and clear all the quests and explore the whole map you get to find alot of interesting and fascinating content. I haven't even explored half the game (or at least it feels like it) at the time I wrote this review and I'm still keen to explore every corner on this map and clear every quest I can get.

Lets put the story aside and review the gameplay itself. You can never go wrong with an hack and slash fighting game. It always feels good to beat up multiple enemies at once with a huge weapon or skill, which Nier provides not to many of but still they hit the nail on the head with the gameplay. The only thing which made me rate this game as an "near masterpiece" is the aerial fighting in your flight units. It just feels kinda off and unnatural when you're either just statically shooting in the same direction or you can spin yourself around in weird angles, some may like it, but I wasn't the biggest of fans.

I can only reccomend Nier to anyone who like an interesting story and good character writing. And lets be honest you where first interested in Nier only because of 2B's french maid outfit :P
